I dotn know about the liberty or jeeps but computer Resets on a Hyundai are unhooking the battery for at least 15 minutes and hitting the brake peddle to discharge any left over energy. Then you drive the car like you stole it for 30 minutes and your set. Of course that is Hyundai not Jeep.
I just pop mine in and out of 2 to 4 hi sometimes it gives me a little fight if I am not moving. Too put it in 4lo put the t-case and trans in Neutral then move it into 4 lo, reverse to get it out.
STOCK!!! i have to bring packages too the post everyday so I have no room for subs and there is no reason for me to change head units in a car with no upgraded speakers.
I bought a 2004 Hyundai Elantra which was a rental car in Jersey. It had 20,000 on it and it was in perfect condition, nothing was wrong with it while I owned it.
My guess would be you are trying to pull it into 4lo while in gear? when I refered to hard engagement on mine while moving or sitting I am refering to 4hi I rarely use 4lo.
I believe you would ahve too do some modifications too the motor to correctly run E-85. You would also more than likely see a decrease in MPG and HP the only reason too run it is too not create such a impact on the environment.
When I did mine I bought a FM Modulator and then had to get a Standard Antenna Adapter too go from the male dodge end too the end on the modulator and then another one too go from the modulator back down too a dodge female end too make it all work. All together the whole thing cost me about 50...
actually when I learned to arc weld we learned how to strike a ark off a flat surface so you can start right where you want to weld it just takes practice.
Cheapest options are either a Arc Welder or Stick Welder, might be more difficult to do more complicated welding with. You can buy a Flux Core Welder, like a Mig welder but with no gas and is easier than a Arc welder but harder than a traditional mig since it starts to weld when the wire hits...
^actually thinner tires are suppose to perform better in the winter but I have alway s just stuck with my stock size tires on any car I have owned. Mine has 235/70/16 and like I said I have had no problems.
Most KJ's don't have ABS actually...mine doesn't. Make sure your tire pressure is around 35 pounds. I have never had a problem with mine in the snow so far. I was even running almost bald tires until the middle of December and I was fine. Are you running it in 4 wheel? or does it squirm around...
That controls fans speeds correct. I had a blower motor resistor go in my Impala and I only had 1 fan speed. Now I have noticed that on 1 and 2 in My 03 Liberty I get no fan. How easy is the part to replace and where is it located exactly?
The tire size calc said it was a 1/2 inch shorter than stock. I am running 235/70/16 right now. It said my speedo would be off about 1.5 mph or something like that. According to tires.com 235/65/16 is a stock liberty size, so I dont see a problem.
How they will look, except my Liberty has the...
