What about KC lights on the roof or would it have the same effect? I like the round lights up top and if i can get close to how that thing looks I would be happy o_o
Bleh!
So today started out by just getting my step rails put on my KJ. Mechanic went underneath and was like...have you had any fuel mileage problems? And I, being a noob, said that I thought it was because of the lift and the tires. Well apparently I had almost pinched an exhaust pipe all...
Yeah that was my mistake of running it back to the battery. I had thought that's what I had done but now remembering the entire ordeal I grounded it to the back of the back seat on a bolt that was there. Memory lapse at work o_o
I am loving my KO2's right now. They can really grip the sand and mud and driving on highways are amazing since there is really no tire noise at all! As far as the Superchips/Bullydog stuff goes, I just want the SC to reprogram the tires and everything so I don't end up with a speeding ticket...
Yes I did. I was about to message you when my shop called me and said they had a bracket they pulled off of a JK (changed out to a swing tire) and said the owner would part with it for $20 so I couldn't resist it. Sorry =\
Also as a computer tech, the first sign of something wrong with a main function of a computer is the blue screen of death, and a reboot. If it doesn't come back on, good. But plan to replace a part soon. If the main CPU on the Jeep is doing this, it could start doing it more frequently until...
They're on ebay and amazon for around $500...you'll get more expensive as you go to other companies. The only reason I know this is because I was searching for them myself earlier today cause I like the look haha.
Yeah I don't like things that are taped. I have to go see my shop tomorrow to get my step rails put on that finally came in...YAY! I will probably ask him again about lights. I am not too picky but I just like how those OEM lights look like old KC set ups and the way the light bar is set up...
True...I saw a post on here and someone was selling them for under $200. I might even try junkyards to see if there is one in there possibly. And I can always ask my shop to see if they know of any deals. I just don't understand how an OEM piece is 2-3x more expensive than aftermarket. Meh o...
When installing an amp/sub to a vehicle, remember to have everything wired correctly for both the amp and the sub.
A few things people overlook is the antenna plug being put back into the factory or after market radio. The amp power cable should be ran through the vehicle to the battery...
Yeah I've been searching around, hoping to find one cheaper than the $500 mark. I rather try to get away with $200 at some point haha. One can wish and keep shopping for the best prices...right?
Yeah I realize that now o_o
The only thing I can think of is finding a decently prices OEM Lightbar from the Renegade. I actually like the look and think it would make the jeep look more rugged and to add more visibility when im driving into nothingness, or on a trail at night.
Haha well it's suppose to rain here in Colorado this week and living off of 4 miles of dirt road, she'll end up dirty again (sigh)
I liked the color of the green because you don't see many KJ's in that color which made me happy. And I don't think the gf is green anymore now that she's out of...
