07 Sport Bumpers - Make Nice
I use something called Black Magic on the mirrors and door handles of my KJ and it keeps the plastic quite shiny--I'm sure it'd work even better on an 07--not as long sitting around in the sun = less roasting away of the blackness of the plastics =P I'm not sure what the company that makes it...- KJ zGal

New Recall just released. J18, 02-03 KJ upper ball joints.
So prior to this recall when I entered the VIN of my KJ into the Jeep website, nothing came up in the search results--does this mean that everything was taken care of in regards to recalls, or that there were no recalls that affected it prior to this one? Just curious...- KJ zGal

I don't know about finding out where it was sold, but if you go to the "For Owners" link on Jeep.com you can put the VIN number in and see if the recall applies to your vehicle...then you could know it was at least originally sold in salt belt state =P Might be something on the sticker with the...- KJ zGal

Thanks for the links, that definitely helped haha--I like the Firestones, but I'm also curious--if I were to buy something like the Firestone Destination M/Ts, would on-road handling suffer in any way? I know off-road tires tend to be louder on the highway--is this the only downside, or would...- KJ zGal

Need new tires!
So I'm definitely going to need new tires very soon, my front two are really getting bald. The back tires still look okay and the spare is brand new, but it's also a Goodyear Wrangler tire. Have you ever slept in your KJ?
I've slept in mine a couple of times when making long trips...I was fairly comfortable in the back, but as I'm only 5'4", I think that would explain it xD I've also fallen asleep in the passenger seat a couple of times and it wasn't bad, but I definitely prefer stretching out lol- KJ zGal
