Has anybody had this problem...
I had one of the female plugs for mine get packed with dirt/mud etc and it burned causing a problem that sounds similar to yours. It cost me a new rear body wiring harness. I would do what Jeepster suggested and pull the plugs and check all connections.- welby

Know How To Replace Piston And Seals On Frnt Caliper?
If you're doing new calipers do new flex lines and bancho fittings too. And all new synthetic fluid to all four corners while you're at it.- welby

Help.....Trying to install a Rusty's Lift
If you can't get it safely with the compressors then take the parts to a garage and have them assemble the struts. Shouldn't cost more than $40 total.- welby

My wife is too short.
My fiancee is 4'9" and she has to do a little one-footed hop manuever with one hand on the door and one on the a-pillar handle. I guess I should get her some step bars or something too.- welby

From Previous Post--first KJ/tires spinning--so what tires should I get?
I have the Dunlop RVXT's and they've been excellent for me in all conditions. They really seem to like the sand that I trail on too. Check out their stats on tirerack.com, they're only about 2 lbs heavier than the stockers.- welby

Boost Pressure Sensor Failure Code P0299
Sounds to me like you blew a hose or a vacuum line off somewhere and were leaking boost pressure. They just replaced the sensor because that's what the code was for.- welby

Disc Brake upgrades
On the cheap crossdrilled rotors the holes aren't chamfered and yes they do wear pads much faster as a trade-off for better gas dissipation. A good quality Carbon based or composite pad (EBC pads) and a good quality solid vented rotor is more than enough.- welby

Better ride?
Rusty's with OME struts and shocks is a very well mannered ride and is smooth as can be. I've also run it on fire roads and trail loops with 1'-2' whoops at speeds that I probably shouldn't talk about and it ate up everything I threw at it. Never had any bottoming problems, no shock fade and...- welby

high mileage
88k miles, 03, 42rle, drive approximately 90 miles/day mostly freeway. It has been just fine, no problems, no extra maintenance other than the fresh oil, plugs, filter cleaning etc.. It rides really nice too with the OME dampers on the lift.- welby

Thanks for the photoshop AZKJ. The power company has up gates for some of these, including this one but it was un-locked. There is a definate reason that they're not open to wheeled motor vehicles. Some of those hills are steep and the sand is loose and deep. A stock tired KJ would most...- welby

Took a trip to see my buddy who now lives near Traverse City, MI. While I was there we took the KJ out to a few local trails/2-tracks We came upon this while out on the trail. A shot looking down the fire road we were on. Sorry about the antenna in the way.- welby

The libbys second tow
I just saw a really clean looking white Shelby CSX-T (p-body) on Gratiot. I haven't seen one of those around in a few years. I also just saw a really nice looking Shelby Lancer on 94 a couple days ago, I think the guy is selling it on one of the forums.- welby
