    2007 white liberty sport with 86,000 miles, half inch clevis lift, nothing added to the rear. 245/70R16's with minor rubbing on front of the front fender, none on pich weld. Fender heights: front 19.50 rear 18.75

    Mine rubs in the same way, in reverse near full lock. I would imagine because your suspension is so new if you did a clevis lift it might eliminate your rubbing altogether. Just a thought. Whats your fender height?

    I did the clevis about a half inch, and the tire still touches the front of the fender a little. No rubbing on pinch weld. I've seen other people with no lift and 245/70's, but without the lift on mine it would rub even more. Right? I have 86,000 and I tow things so it has sagged, how many...

    The jeep came with 225/75R16 tires stock. I wanted to buy a lift kit and was needing to buy new tires, but could not afford a good lift (OME). After much searching on this site I learned that a clevis lift could allow me to fit a larger tire, and that some people run 245/70's on stock jeeps...

    After the clevis lift and larger 245/70R16 hankook dynapro A/T tires. Nothing added to the rear. Only minor rubbing on the front fenders near full lock, on the front of the fender. Not enough to worry about. No rubbing from the rear tires. For those of you who don't know what a clevis lift...
