Spare tire=gone
My reason to remove it: I've seen what kind of damage a light rear hit into the spare can do - tail gate, glass + more stuff can go. There's a bumper for this stuff and with the spare on it doesn't have a chance to take part in such occasions.- max pain

Yes, that is correct. Although i had only the front ones glowing, don't know if installing one of the rears will help. But the floor ones for sure.- max pain

I had the same problem! Unless you install one of the bulbs non-LED, they will glow alittle. It was making me crazy, so i installed normal bulbs near the floor. The thing is, that the wiring has 1-2 volts constantly. Now it's not enough to light up normal bulbs, but LEDs need much less to...- max pain

You connect to the lighter inlet in the dash (not outside) as the power source. You'll have to unscrew the driver's seat and take the stereo and it's trim out.- max pain

I don't think we are clear what actually does what. Does ESP apply brakes or traction control? Which one shuts the gas?- max pain

I think it's the other way round. When i turn the ESP off, i can rev the engine anyway i want, i can even spin the wheels without moving for as long as i want. Now if i don't turn it off, the ECM shuts the gas in i can do nothing. The traction control is good, feels like a limited slip a bit.- max pain

It behaves the same, i have the throttle cable, but the ESP still shuts the acceleration immediately if wheels start to spin. Pain in the ass....- max pain
