Dear friends, thank you for for your effort and help. Unfortunately, mechanics here(who claim to be experienced on Chrysler Jeep), do not have as much theoric knowledge about lift kits EVEN as me.. Ok, I got my right front tire on a concrete block and took some photos. First, this was what the vehicle looked like at full flex: And these are the rear springs, left fully compressed and right flexed. Does the left coil view represent spring binding or full compression?- resistance

I can not get a clear view of the coil and the bumpstops, so I honestly don't know. I only have the picture below, taken while putting the new tires on. The problem is, I guess the whole thing needs to be taken apart again to correct the rear coil position and shorten the mallets. Given the...- resistance

Tony, I had to work and I couldn't open the boxes, see the parts and witness the installation process. Rear shocks are the ones included in the 2" BDS lift kit. If they were too short, then how could they call this a ready made "kit":confused: And the coil ends don't look like the same...- resistance

Thank you again for all your help and compliments:) As I've said, I could have NEVER done it without your help. Springs, shocks, bumpstops, clevis, tires, none of them.. I didn't have a chance to watch the installation (as I'm always working), I saw it when the wheel was taken off, it looked...- resistance

Yes it's finally done.. Had a very hard time finding an international dealer, importing the kit, retrieving at the customs, installation, etc.. Thank you for the feedback. Well.. Couldn't find anybody selling Goodyear MTR's around here but according to the price list, they are way too expensive, around $350 each. Actually I feel encouraged by your explanations about M/T's! If I'm going to be safe with them even on the dry/wet...- resistance

Well, I'd love to, really, I know seeing them on my lifted Renny will make me happy:) All I'm worried about is -as I've said- poor performance on pavement. Wet pavement traction, stopping distance, loud noise, etc. This makes me confused.:confused:- resistance

But STT's are mud tires. I like them but I have only 20% of my time off road. How would they perform on dry/wet pavement? Stopping distance, noise, etc?(dunno) TBJ, I do about 14.000 KM per year. You say you agree with STT's?- resistance

Thank you for the info. Didn't know shoulders had so little effect. But please just have a look at the shoulders of above images 2 and 3. Shouldn't 3 provide more grip while going over heaps of dry earth+rocks+dirt etc. mixed terrain?- resistance

Yes TBJ, I know. The ST is an A/T. But the STT is said to be a good mix between an A/T and M/T. (So say the reviews) BTW, ST shoulders seemed a little weak to provide powerful grip, just like BFG A/T's. I maybe mistaken though.- resistance
