X2 I had a similar sound, then even started doing it in 2 wheel drive quietly, just got the replacement joint for $80 and installed myself, pretty easy just can take a little effort to get the old off!- bmrrwolfe

Mopar Tow Hooks?
I think the front bumper cover does have to come off.. I know I had too when I did my receiver hitch tow hooks. It really isn't all that bad to take off, and just think of it as a learning experience! Edit: Here is a write up for an 06 tow hook install...- bmrrwolfe

Those look great! Thats the biggest down fall for the KJs... The cloth seats at least the 05-07s stain from everything, and never look good.- bmrrwolfe

Haha the thought crossed my mind, but I know I can't afford them! College kid with my KJ, modded XJ thats getting a motor swap and a 72 Chevy truck I'm restoring.. My ideas are a lot bigger then my wallet, at least until I graduate and can snag a good job :D I have a buddy that I was thinking...- bmrrwolfe

PLEASE HELP interior LED problem
Have the same issue when I installed the LEDs, but actually like it, its dim enough that it doesn't effect my driving, but now I can kinda see the person next to me. The problem is that there is always a circuit of power going through, and the LEDs use so little power compared to the factory...- bmrrwolfe

Yeah I like that blacked out look too. I almost tinted my taillights with niteshades like I did on my old XJ but leave the circles only tinted with one light coat, and the rest of the light real dark, but I;m not sure how it would blend with silver.- bmrrwolfe

Looks good! What paint did you end up going with? Are you going to the flares and bumpers to match it? I also just finished getting my skid setup thanks to TJKJ for the skidrow front skid and my previously purchased mopar engine/tranny and Tcase skids, just need a time to install them, but not...- bmrrwolfe

Welcome and congrats! I'm sure you will love your KJ in the snow, although the tires on it will make a world of a difference. In our Cleveland snow I may have used 4WD 3-4 times, with my new snow tires which even then 2wd would of worked, I just wanted to show off to the other cars slipping and...- bmrrwolfe

Tensioner Replacement
I almost got a set of those Craftsmen ones from Sears, but was afraid that they wouldn't work, glad to hear some positive words about them. Jake let us know what works for ya, I've been putting it off for a few weeks but I think I am doing my tensioner and belt tomorrow, and hopefully won't run...- bmrrwolfe
