Check what you need to get your warranty. Some places require certain things be changed, some obvious like oil filter, water pump, gaskets, stuff like that. What is the longest you've seen cheap bushings last? Is Omix-ADA a good brand?
Omix-ada used to be a good parts source, I've had a pulley for the 4.0 XJ go bad from them in about a month. Box said made in china. To be safe I'd aim for a 2005 and up 3.7 engine. You can even use a 2012 liberty engine just a few sensors to swap and the oil filter adapter is different, I just use the filter for the year engine I bought instead. Accessory grinding noise on occasion
Probably the tensioner. I need to replace mine again the mopar tensioner I bought has too much play when the ac is on (bounced under tension) So it's new, & mopar but no good The compressor is the hardest thing to turn the engine will power would be surprising if failing tensioners acted up...- Conundrum2006

True. in our case the motor flush we had done was the final issue for that motor. Too much crud and gunk in the pan to leave it alone. Probably was easier to remove the engine than do in vehicle repair. I do know that rotella and other recommended high detergent oils will start to cut the gunk...- Conundrum2006

I had a new rad cap from crown that looked great but didn't seal, no idea if the cap of faulty of if the previous owner had the radiator changed. It didn't leak for a few miles, looked fine at first inspection too. It didn't clampdown hard enough, I think the dog ears on the cap were too tall...- Conundrum2006

2002, 100K - Burnt Valve - Sell or Keep?
Personally if the body is good I'd keep the KJ. Even at a cost I figure the jeep is worth it. But that's me, I kinda of take pride in keeping my old jeeps on the road and can do most of the work myself, but it's got to be worth it for your family cause in the worst case scenario it could be...- Conundrum2006

I've had radiator fluid loss do to seeping o-rings to the heater core, a radiator hose clamp that some how loosened up in the winter just enough for a small drip. Um I think that code is for cylinder 2, a quick test is to just swap coil on the engine and see if the failure moves with it. Could also be a spark plug. Sadly you probably need a compression test on that cylinder to see if it's below spec. But others here probably have a better...- Conundrum2006

Should be a condenser by the radiator, possibly a hole in one of the lines or inline dryer. Probably the condenser either rotted away or hit something to cause a leak .
