Timing chain
My experience with these timing chains is they do not stretch out a whole lot even with 200k on the clock, far as the tensioner letting the timing be slack enough to cause a problem I don't know. Reducing oil consumption
I hesitate to mention this but the oil additive to stop leaks might help. Another trick is if the junk yard list the vin, and they should although it's optional if they do. I used myCARFAX app to look the vin up and peek at the recorded service history. Not sure what to say. It is possible to rebuild, used would be faster to swap. Depends on how much damage was done to the engine, you will need a machine shop for the head. Possibly the block. It could have seized, especially if it had a headgasket problem in the past. The main bearings keep getting worse, harder to turn. May be why you had to keep the gas on it to keep it running. 2006 air condition problem
With the engine off can the front of the compressor clutch be turned by hand. Should be able to move it if the compressor is not locked up. I don't think it's a low on freon problem, if those gauges are correct. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro- Conundrum2006

Durlast wheel sensor made by MOPAR?

Reading over it again. I'd probably try a compression test on that cylinder or possibly scoping it with a tiny camera. Misfires can be bad spark plugs, coils, fuel injectors. Those are the easiest to try to fix. Then valves and overall cylinder compression, below a certain point there is not enough compression to ignite the fuel. Belt tensioner bolt stripped
Two of these bolts were hard to get lose the one on the original motor with 9-10 years of use, but the most difficult was the 2012 motor it actually ruined that bolt head.
