yes, i know. i think turbo would be the most economical. but the ecm would still need to be done. and i have no clue what or where to have that done. anything can be done with enough $$$$. but i think in this case, he would be way better off with a vehicle with a good 300ish hp v-8.- XWrench3

As I see it. there are 2 main problems. 1) is remapping the engine control module to accommodate whatever mods you could make (turbo, cams, headers, etc.. and 2) making more heat in the cylinder head/valve area, could be enough to loosen the valve seats. if it drops a seat, say goodbye to the...- XWrench3

Heavy Duty Cooling (Trailer Tow)

for now at least, i have disconnected the fan at the fan. leaving the connector open. i soldered in a switch i control from the drivers seat. i am pretty good at watching the gauges. i have to find a good auto salvage yard close by. the 2 i used to go to several years ago have closed up.- XWrench3

well, i have a set of "J"hooks (electrical tool that pierces the wire without slicing thru the insulation). i pierced the center wire of the fan side of the harness (black) with the negative side of my multi meter, then pierced the high speed side, and it is always hot (with the engine running)...- XWrench3
