Accelerating/revving up to 3K all the time bad for the engine?
The FSM says 12k for schedule B (severe service), but doesn't even mention changing diff oils in schedule A. The Mopar diff oil is synthetic. What would be a good interval for schedule A?- Mangate

Engine internals may be destroyed..
I don't know if I'd be too keen to use a Pentastar. Bought a 2011 Town & Country (yeah, I know) 2 months ago and dropped it off at the dealer today. It's running hot (109 centigrade, or 228F) and the coolant has turned rusty brown. I suspect a head gasket leak, but have also read that the blocks...- Mangate

You could get OME springs from JBA, he ships worldwide. You'd probably have to pay VAT when they arrive, on top of the shipping. I checked prices for OME springs in NZ and it was cheaper to buy them from JBA and pay the shipping and tax to Mexico, than pick them up whilst I was in NZ. Surprising...- Mangate

Spark Plug Issues - 2006 Liberty
The problem with Neons is that two cylinders have a reverse polarity spark. An expensive plug doesn't work well because for those two cylinders it will be the ground terminal on the plug that burns away, rather than the centre electrode. OME Struts
Ian, did you change them yourself? I see the Miller tool recommended by Chrysler costs $271, the threaded rod alone is $72. Is there a suitable tool at a cheaper price, that won't fall to pieces? Would something like this do the job...- Mangate

too much time between alignments?
Just put my lift on and all was quite the first 3 or 4 days. Then it started creaking like mad one day. Now it's silent again, maybe it's temperature related, but I'm pretty sure it's the sway bar bushings.- Mangate

Look, no ratchet straps.
After having my OME lift (926/948 + OME shocks) and JBA A-arms for a year, I finally got round to fitting. I didn't need ratchet straps to get the clevis back on, or does this only apply to taller lifts? I did not remove the caliper or tie rods and this probably helped preventing the drive...- Mangate

Fuel level sensor
If the gauge always drops to zero at the same fuel level, then it probably is the sender (attached to the fuel pump module). If it'e completely random then I would have thought it is more likely a bad connection at the fuel pump plug.- Mangate

I was wondering how the computer detects a problem with the fan circuit. It obviously doesn't measure the current to the fan if a blown fuse cannot be detected. Maybe it detects current flow to the actuating side of the relay (what would normally be the coil in a standard relay). If this is the...- Mangate
