    14mpg!

How many miles are on the KJ ? Do you know any of the previous maintenance that was performed on it prior to you purchasing it ? If it has over 30k, a spark plug replacement, throttle body cleaning, air pressure check (as all others have posted--I run 35 psi cold x4) and an air filter would...

New Guy... Just got my CRD!

Yep...welcome aboard. I've owned my CRD since April 21st and I've been very happy with the mileage and performance. There's a few other CRD owners on here, so you'll get some feedback from time to time. The first 2,100 have been very fun miles on my CRD. Greg

What is your oil/oil filter combination? Synthetic or Dino?

Not really....the CRD's have a 12,500 mile "A" and 6,250 "B" schedule for their oil changes. I'll be using the factory fill of 0W40 Mobil 1 and most likely an OEM filter...not sure if anyone even offers another oil filter for the CRD's yet. Greg

    Destination A/T's

The Destination A/T's would have been my 2nd choice; I got such a great deal on the REVO's, I could not pass them up. Greg

    Mobil 1 @ Walmart

The owner's manual says 6.4 qts. (I'm going off memory), but I don't believe that included the oil filter capacity. I've not changed mine as of yet....probably will wait 'til at least 5,000 mile range or so minimum. The schedule "A" oil change interval is 12,500 miles; schedule "B" is 6,250...

    Mobil 1 @ Walmart

That is a good price....it's about a couple of bucks more for the same 5-qt jug in my area. Did you happen to notice if they had the 0W40 in the 5-qt jugs ? My new CRD has that weight as factory fill....I've only been able to find it in 1-qt bottles so far. Greg

    Cargo Liners

Husky's are the way to go ! Husky's can't be beat....I had them in the '02 Liberty Sport 4x4 and bought the fronts, rears, and cargo liner for the '05 Limited CRD. The Husky's also have provisions for the tie-downs in the rear as well. Greg

Routine draining of water from fuel/water separator..CRD Eng

Thanks so much for the help. Now that I know the procedure, I'll have an idea about what things to look for to do the process. The bleeder screw is easily visible from the top....kinda looks like a bleeder screw on a brake caliper. Thanks again for your help....I'll post my experiences whenever...

Routine draining of water from fuel/water separator..CRD Eng

Any CRD owners figured out how to drain the water from the fuel/water separator on a 2.8L CRD engine ? I looked through the owner's manual to no avail, short of identifying where the fuel filter is located (already knew that). I own a 2003 Dodge RAM 2500 Crew Cab 4x4 equipped with the 24V H/O...

    Destination A/T's

I just purchased 5 new P235/70R16 Bridgestone Dueler A/T REVO's....had them on the '02 Liberty Sport and liked them well enough to put'em on the '05 Liberty Limited CRD. They're the best tire on the market as far as I'm concerned. Greg

Ditched those wimpy Wrangler ST's...Hello Dueler A/T REVO's

After being on a backorder situation for a few weeks, my 5 Bridgestone Dueler A/T REVO's finally came in today. I (along more so with my wife) was glad to ditch the wimpy P225/75R16 Goodyear Wrangler ST's in favor of some P235/70R16 Bridgestone A/T REVO's. In the 1,530 miles we've owned the CRD...

Yep...that's why I'm thinking it would be something as simple as a computer flash for the upgrade. Anyone tech-related from DC listening & can chime in ? Greg
