Find a multi-brand tire dealer that sells all brands (obviously at least Bridgestones) and pay them a visit....tell them you have a new Jeep on order and you'll drive it straight to their shop within X miles for an agreed upon trade difference. The CRD has around 7,200 miles or so, and the REVO's are doing great. Bridgestone had a $75 rebate on the purchase of four tires between September 15th and October 15th, 2005, and the response at our store was awesome. My wife was so happy when her new REVO's came in.....she had the REVO's on...- gsbrockman

Gauge Pods for '05 Liberty CRD
Pre-turbo would be in the exhaust manifold or pipe before the turbo; post-turbo could be in the cast iron elbow or exhaust pipe after the turbo. This is what a pre-turbo install looks like in my CTD : Greg- gsbrockman

Gauge Pods for '05 Liberty CRD
Pre-turbo is best......I own a 2003 Dodge RAM 2500 H/O 24V Cummins, and others on different sites say 300* to 400* F is about the average temp difference between pre- and post- turbo readings; not sure on the itty-bitty turbo used on the CRD, but I'd imagine the temp difference would be nearly...- gsbrockman

05 Libby Stock Goodyears
I ditched the OEM Wrangler ST's in favor of some P235/70R16 Bridgestone Dueler A/T REVO's.....I typically run 36 psi in them; better fuel economy and a little more even wear, too. Be sure to check & set your tire pressure at least monthly, more often if you feel froggy. Greg- gsbrockman

Got the CRD back once again........we now have a new torque converter in addition to the EGR Valve. Three people from the dealership (including the sales manager) drove it and called us around 3:30 today to let us know it was ready. CRD milestone: 10K miles
Glad yours is doing great.....dropped the wife's off last Thursday with a check engine light (EGR Valve) problem....picked it up Tuesday, drove it about 26 miles, CEL on again then off again, now it's back to the shop a 2nd time. We downgraded from a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix S/C to a 2005 Dodge...- gsbrockman

Hello, I am looking for a Liberty CRD and need some help
Looks like the EGR bug has bitten the wife's CRD; the MIL came on for a brief moment last Saturday, then off again in about 20 minutes. All was well until today; at least it came on and stayed on, and was able to be properly diagnosed. My selling dealer called STAR to try to expediate the EGR...- gsbrockman

HOW TO: Oil & Filter Change Procedure '05 CRD
I'm on my 3rd CTD....a 2003 RAM 2500 Crew Cab 4x4 Sport w/HO and six speed. I've always pre-filled/primed the Fleetguard filter with one quart of oil, then toss in the other 10/11 quarts in the crankcase, as the filters on the CTD's do screw on vertically. high flow cat question
If your KJ has less than 80K on the odometer, you'll probably have a little difficulty getting it changed out, as all vehicle manufacturers have the 80K emissions warranty. Greg- gsbrockman

Well, the '05 Liberty Limited CRD 4x4 turned over 5,707 trouble-free miles today. I had already rounded up my 7 quarts of Mobil 1 0W40 oil and MOPAR filter. I pulled the CRD onto the ramps and was ready to begin....I thought I had everything I needed to do the oil change, but I was mistaken...- gsbrockman

My Liberty is fat! I think it needs a diet....
That's very, very close.....my invoice has a shipping weight of 4,156 lbs.......you V6 guys may be a tad heavier, as I only have the little 4 cylinder. \:D/ Greg- gsbrockman
