    Old Shocks

    CRD Engine Heater Observations

I'd bet a correct length stick wedged nicely between the seat and accelerator pedal would work nicely....especially if you have power seats. Greg

    2004 liberty abs

Re: ABS and Tires My wife's '02 had 5/32nds of tread remaining at 48k miles.....put on the REVO's December 2004 just because I knew winter was around the corner. Greg

    2004 liberty abs

It's not hard to if your '05 has P225/75R16 Goodyear Wrangler ST's on it, as they suckkkkkkkkk. The P235/70R16 Wrangler SR/A's are a great tire....the '02 we previously owned was equipped with them. Greg

    New '06 Liberty CRD!

It's very difficult getting the shit-eating grin off your face after a few thousand miles of ownership of a CRD (this coming from a guy that also owns a 2003 Dodge RAM 2500 Crew Cab CTD w/368 hp and 718 torque at the rear wheels). My wife was reluctant to go with the CRD, but the '02 Liberty...

    Pics of satellite receiver mounts?

For $36 bucks, I'd use the supplied 3M tape that comes with most of the docking kits. That's just way toooooo much money for a molded piece of metal. Greg

    Magnaflow coming...

You'll like the quality of the Magnaflow system......everything bolts up great and nothing has to be "tweaked"....straight out of the box, they're a perfect install. We've done several turbo-back systems on Dodge RAM 2500's and 3500's with the Cummins Turbo Diesels. I'm laying some 5" pipe on my...

Is my engine block heater working?

Re: Block Heater New one on me. (Aeh) I've owned Dodge RAM 2500's (yeah, it's not a CRD) since 1997 and I've occasionally left the truck running while the block heater was still plugged in with no ill affects. If the water pump is simply pumping "partially heated" coolant across the...

    silver CRD ltd

I'm so confused ! Why does DC substitute the 17" alloys on Limited CRD's with the 16" in the USA but yet the 17" wheels are OE on the overseas version ? (Aeh) (Aeh) (Aeh) Greg

    Tow package

Taken from the '05 Brochure : Trailer Tow Group--Includes Class III receiver hitch, 7-pin wiring harness, 7-to-4 pin adaptor and heavy duty engine cooling and auxillary oil cooler for automatic transmissions. They left out that it has the underdash pigtail connector for the electric...

Considering KJ purchase, seeking feedback on certain things

Re: Considering KJ purchase, seeking feedback on certain thi I own a 2003 Dodge RAM 2500 Crew Cab w/H-O CTD and NV5600 six speed ( http://kydtr.com/iboard/index.php?showuser=27 )and the 2005 Liberty Limited 4x4 CRD. The 545RFE is a great trans with the CRD.......winds up fast, builds boost...

    CRD oil change/mods.

3500 miles is a little early (in my opinion) for an oil change given the 6250 / 12500 intervals as stated in the owner's manual. I changed the oil in my CRD at 5700 miles (first oil change....tossed in some washer fluid, rotated the tires and set tire pressure). I'm very displeased with the...

    3.7L Decent or not?

The 3.7L is indeed a great little engine......enough power for a KJ but I'd say lacking in a full size Dodge RAM 1500 pickup. Never had a minutes trouble out of the 3.7L in the wife's '02 Liberty Sport 4x4....maintenance was easy and the gaskets were great....that engine was dry as a bone at 52k...

    Let's See Your Revos!

Not necessarily.....the gas Limiteds are equipped with 17's; the CRD Limiteds are equipped with 16's. Your best bet would be to find someone with a brand new Sport or Renegade w/16's that you could trade tires/wheels with, THEN go in search of some 16" REVO's. Unfortunately, Bridgestone does not...
