235/65/17 A/T Tire Choices
I went with the E-load rated 10 ply Silentarmors and I'm highly impressed with them. I was skeptical after hearing some of those later reviews but, they have performed beyond my expectations, thus far. almost 800 miles on them already!- K Dje Ryu

Liberty Rattles
I wheel mine just about as hard as possible without skids and I have all kinds of squeaks, rattles, etc... Just turn the stereo up. Get a louder one, if necessary, it's a Jeep. Extra noises come standard. :D- K Dje Ryu

Lock front or rear
There has to be some gap or it wouldn't tighten enough to stay put. Especially since it's just aluminum. Is it only split on one side? Care to measure the OD and width of it so I could make my own? :D- K Dje Ryu

Check engine light
you should be able to get the code(s) yourself. http://www.allpar.com/fix/computer-codes.html instead of on-acc-on-acc-on, use on-off-on-off-on. My "acc" setting is one click counter-clockwise from off. I used the "click" between completely off (able to take the key out) and the "on"...- K Dje Ryu

Mine doesn't even have ABS. I don't think I have a LSD, either. There's no green sticker on my axle but, with the amount of water I've been through, that's not surprising. It just doesn't feel like it's locking, ever.- K Dje Ryu

Anybody ever lowered a liberty
Never heard of one. You could always put wheel spacers on but, then you might get rubbing in tight corners. Could probably put them just on the back without too many issues, though.- K Dje Ryu

Wow. I wonder how long this had been rubbing on the exhaust manifold? I just spliced two wires (one melted all the way through, one just exposing wire) at lunch today, reset the computer after work, and I can actually feel an increase in torque/hp. Yeah, it's just all the wrenching that I don't want to do. sticking a crimp connector or wire-nut on is quick and easy. Plus, I'm pretty much broke till next Wed.
