    Mine feels pretty good with the stock rims and just slightly wider tires on them. Much better than stock, worlds better than rocky-road's budget lift.

    Double check for the manual, it's in a pocket above the glove box. you have to open the glove box to get to it and it will be between the grab handle (if you have one) and the box part of the glove box. Just a slot that the book fits into. Took me about 10 months to even notice that hole.

    The '05 Ltd is the last KJ to have the "winky" hood. All other models in '05 had the flat hood, and all models since, I do believe. Too bad the Ltd doesn't have the nicer bumper of the '01'-04s, too.

    The upper control arm and ball joint are a single unit. Al's arms replace both and allow for ball joint-only replacement. The lower control arms and ball joints are separate parts and can have the ball joint replaced without removing the lca. I don't know how they'll fare in the long run but...

    Have you asked about them on any Nissan forums? Perhaps someone who owns one could explain if/how they are better off-road. I know one person who has one but, he bought a Harley shortly after getting the Xterra so rarely drives the Nissan, now. I don't think he likes it much.

    I've heard that you can turn the mount upside down and gain a little clearance, if it doesn't allow the glass to go by. But, you lose clearance over the hitch in doing so. Supposedly, you can just take the tire off, hitch the trailer, then put the tire back.
