thats what solved my problem right after the lca recall was completed. i torqued mine to i believe 70ish with the weight on the tires and the noise went away. the dealership had those bolts hammered down around 120-140 torque (which is way high from spec. and tightened at the wrong time {weight...
i had the same problem after the rear lca recall. i tightened them to spec and noise went away. Dealership had them tightened to twice the torque sepc.
That 2.4L went into alot of other platforms from 1996-2007? So if another edz(engine identifier) crank pulley will work, then it would be worth the investigative time. mike
-I would rather not have them.
-I just changed mine in the 12 in my sig. Nobody stocked them in the parts stores and I had to order them.
-Old ones were dis-colored after 21,000 miles but could have gone longer.
-Very easy to change!
i like the slightly bigger size than the kj. but i can still park it unlike some 1/2 ton pick-ups.
what i like about the kk compared to the kj is the huge improvement in the ride quality and the more refined interior.
both have the 3.7L but the kk's 3.7L is so much smoother also.
Not to mention motor oil has 20 times more detergents than atf. Motor oil has to clean up combustion atf does not. So it serves no purpose. Old wives tale.
