Looking for metal impeller water pump?
Through research in my area i found the only metal impeller water pump was the pro-cool brand at Pepboys. I don't know the quality otherwise yet? But my perception is if they spent money to engineer a metal impeller than the rest of the quality should be good? This is FYI for members trying to...- k99jk99j

the reman alternator market has alot of remans that aren't fit for sale. my first suspect would be a bad reman alternator. but i would try some more diagnosis first. another thing you have to watch out for is the people that test alternators at these auto parts stores! just because you have a...- k99jk99j

Thinking of buying 07 or 08 Liberty. Advice.
I have both a gen 1 and gen 2 liberty. My advice is the 08 and up. Alot more room and comfort. Also a lot more refined, but.... more expensive. When will the Alternator go?
true about the voltage regulator, but in the past this trick works on my externally regulated denso alternators, i assumed it was freeing up the 2 brushes that were making intermittant contact, which it sounds like what the o.p. alternator is doing?- k99jk99j

keep the oil sump full and drive it! u shouldn't think about high price options until it uses 1 quart in 500 miles. the dealer won't even warranty a engine until its down to 1 quart in 800 miles.- k99jk99j

'07 Headlights and instrument panel flicker at idle
cleaning the throttle body can sometimes raise the idle. but usually when mine was around 500, i would put plugs in it and other tune up essentials, and it would go back up to 600.- k99jk99j

Tranny flush issue...
Normal hard down shift, as it re-learns the c.v.i.'s (clutch volume indexes). You have changed the viscosity of the atf by changing the fluid. Like others said it will re-learn over time. Or u can go to dealer and get a quick learn for cash (of course). With the c.v.i's being so different than...- k99jk99j

DLR lights on a 2011 Sport
i know canadian libertys have to have drl's. on my 06 i know it reportedly only takes a relay to make them functional. might want to look in owners manual at the interior fuse box. it might have a provision for drl's.- k99jk99j

Possible Recall 2002-2007?
Well after multiple calls since last September (2014) to multiple dealers, in my area. I keep getting told they don't have parts and they are not scheduling for this recall. My local dealer says they have a 5 page list of customers that need the recall, but can't proceed because of parts. So...- k99jk99j
