    Headlights

Thanks JasonJ for the link and tip. The hazing is not horrible, but it ain't great. I detail her quarterly and do the lens cleaning then which usually lasts until the next detail. I don't notice an appreciable decline in their brightness over that time, so for now, it's all good. However...

    My Winch Mounted-So Happy!

I'm a noob when it comes to fabrication, but I find it really interesting. How do you know that what you've built will be strong enough to winch off of? Is it bolted anywhere, or just welded, and is one stronger than the other?

    Windshield Washer Nozzles

Hey, so I had a similar problem with mine and used some tricks of the trade (I'm an agricultural operations manager) and was able to fix it. Seems like you've done a lot of things to try to fix it. I'm surprised that the syringe didn't blow out the clog. My problem originally started, I...

    Headlights

Well that is good news! I can only buff the haze out so many times, would be nice to replace with something more modern.

What did you do to your jeep today?

I do the same thing, but it's usually only after I've had one of those satan's salad, whacky tabacky, left handed cigarettes. :happy175::happy175:

    Diagnosing noise

I dont currently need 4wd, so out with the driveshaft it is. Not sure what the SOP for driveshaft removal is so I'll have to look into that. Yea, the greaseable joints do sound good, also conversely it is not stock. Is it better than stock, or worse, because I'd rather not have to purchase a...

    Diagnosing noise

It's still making noise, and I'm worried I am going to do more damage by driving it.

Please help with noise from front end

Trying to figure out a very similar issue. Was your sound also associated with a vibration that comes through the floor, pedal, and not the steering wheel? Did you ever get it figured out?

    Diagnosing noise

Not really sure why my front driveshaft has U-Joints vs the more common CV style. Anyone care to take a stab at that even. Could a failing u-joint cause a vibration like that?

    On a Mission: 50mph rumble

Check the front differential mount bushings as well, they might be shot along with the motor mounts. I replaced mine with energy suspension bushings and it made a big difference.

    Diagnosing noise

I'm currently in the process of trying to figure out what is causing a thumping in my front drivetrain. It started last week and has gotten progressively worse. Things that have been worked on in the front most recently: Upper/Lower Ball Joint Clevish Bushing Swaybar Bushing Pass/Driver...

JBA 4 link bolt on kit

I've been contemplating this question. If you compare the prices, and the longevity of the stock vs 4-link, the 4-link is a no brainer at only 100$ more. The stock mopar UCA goes bad quickly if you're running a lift. I put a new one on a couple years ago and it's almost toast. As to your...

should i install an electric CRD fan on my V6?

Wheeled into Joshua Tree through one of the National Park service roads and it was 118-120 that day. The temp gauge never crossed the halfway point, but after about 1 hour, the AC decided that it was done working, and didn't work for the rest of the day. Next day, started her up and the AC was...

Mopar Ignition Coils Kit for KJ 2005 3.7L in San Francisco

Sounds like you've got quite the trip planned then. Lots to do in SF. I'd recommend going to Crissy Field, or Marin Headlands, for the best views of the Golden Gate Bridge. Go to Golden Gate Park after GG Bridge, and find the Buffalo, worth it if you've never seen one in person. Haight &...

Mopar Ignition Coils Kit for KJ 2005 3.7L in San Francisco

Get what parts you can carry home while you're here. I just replaced my coils and think that I got them for just $19 ea. I suggest taking a look at www.RockAuto.com and have them delivered to the hotel. Prices are going to be better on there than they would be at the local Napa, O'Reillys, or...

    Need advice on my Liberty/transmission

Sorry to hear you're having such a tough time with the dealership. Don't even bother considering those Fords, the Jeep is much better. Hopefully, they can get the torque converter replaced and then she will be all good. Are there any other issues that they need to address?
