okay speakers, amp sub for under 500???

I highly recommend the Infinity BassLink. I installed one with the rest of the speakers still stock. Adds just the right amount of Bass. Easy to install. Amp built in to the sub enclosure. And you can find them for a very reasonable price. I got mine used locally in craigslist for only $40.

    Post your flex pics!

Yep. In the parking lot of the local water park. Big mound of dirt is from work they are doing to add a slide for this next season. We get season passes to the park. I have spent many hours floating around the lazy river after work in the summers. It is only 5 minutes from my house.

    NEED HELP...New Hidden Hitch

One more thing to check is that the bolts that you bought are truly M12x1.75. I just got a hitch last week off CL and it did not come with bolts. I went to the local Ace Hardware store that stocks hardened, grade 10.9 metric bolts. I bought 6 bolts and washers, out of the M12x1.75x40 bin...

    Tallest height with stock UCA's

Well, I am at 23.75". And I am just barely getting UCA to spring contact at full extension/droop. Should have a fix for that this weekend though, and still using stock UCA's. I'll share my tricks if works. But I think you can get 22.5" easily, probably more without any contact at all

Changing Trans filter - quick answer would be great

Sounds like you have it correct. That is the way I did it. Just make sure you remove the old o-ring before putting the new one in. That is all there is to it.

    OME/RSX and a spacer???

Just as a refresher, Bump stops explained: reference: http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=410789#p410789 Here are some pictures for future reference when explaining the need for bump stops. Notice how the coils compressed on the stock setup are very close to the compression...

    OME/RSX and a spacer???

Oh no! Not the dreaded bumpstop debate again. I thought I already beat that horse waaaaay past dead... And yes... No matter what lift you install, Daystar, OME, Frankie, Homegrown, RRO (eeeek), etc, you need to add 1 inch of bumpstop for every inch of lift.....

    OME/RSX and a spacer???

No real adverse effects. You just won't be sitting as talk. Your springs will be a little more soft too. But it really should not harm anything.

    OME/RSX and a spacer???

(cue the sarcasm voice) LOL. Yeah. That whole Frankenlift thing is stupid. What on earth was All-J's thinkin' with that hair-brained idea? (end sarcasm) Agreed you can get about the same amount of lift either way. Just different ways to get to the same end result...

    OME/RSX and a spacer???

X3 - Sorry TBJ. But you have to add a spacer if using Daystar top plate to get the same preload as OEM top plate with OME springs. Whew. Almost dyslexed myself there... :D Oh, and yes, you will be REALLY close to, and possible hitting UBJ on the spring. My UBJ are not hitting. But the...

    OME/RSX and a spacer???

Here is the basic concept. The Daystar top plate in effect, lengthens the front shock shaft length. It adds 2.5" of droop. So, if you use the Daystar top plate with OME springs, the springs do not have enough initial compression in the coil-over configuration that our Jeeps have. You need to...
