    In 2002, the Luxury Group offered Heated Power Mirrors - Folding. This means they are heated and are power-adjusting but fold away manually. North American KJ's never had the mirrors that fold using a motor.

    Not my 2002 KJ LTD. I needed the key on to light a cigarette with my lighter. Maybe it's cause I have 2 plugs in front. The lighter needs the key. The second outlet doesn't.

    Cool. I could have told you that she'd hold up through ruts & drops at speed. Many of the streets here in Brooklyn (especially Canarsie) are like zero-G camelbacks & my KJ hasn't bottomed out yet. Pucker factor 15.

    02 KJ LTD EDITION models came with standard XEUS skid plate. When the Renegade was intro'd in late 02 it was the only model with more armor standard. Of course, factory options could be purchased to add skids, i.e. Off-Road group, etc. to the LTD or Sport models.

    The wheels are the same as 2002 stock Limited wheels with the exception of the painted dark slate throat accents. My Limited wheels are identical, but have glitter/metal-flake appearance throat accents.

    DC played it smart with this engine. It is virtually identical to the 4.7 V8 which was introduced in 1999 and was relatively tried & true. That fact brought my "trust-factor" up a couple notches.

    Performance = very decent Gas mileage = obscenely indecent Reliability = Outstanding And like the 4.0 , the 3.7 is a truck engine, not a girly, car engine.

    We REALLY don't need no stinkin badges!!!

    The one I ordered about 1 1/2 years ago was also of the "crackerjack prize" variety. These are the original badges used on the 03 & 04 models. I think DC went with the thick chrome-look badges in 2005. They're probably just getting rid of the surplus "cheap-o" badges.

    My daughter rests her right hand on the armrest on the door (not the handle) and her left hand goes on the upper part of the wheel well curve next to the seat. She then pushes herself up with both hands.
