Is the KJ the only vehicle that uses these crappy regulators? Why not switch them with a different type or make. I don't get how it is that so many people have the problem, and after repeated repairs they still keep failing. To me, there is an obvious problem and that is the regulator itself...
I drive a snow plow for the county, my truck is bad ass but pics like those put me into a panic. I know our day will come and I do not look forward to trying to work during those conditions. I've worked 14" storms but never anything like a 20" or more. I would want to curl up and cry like a...
Due to laziness I haven't taken pics or posted a video, but I recently had installed a Thrush Weld muffler with all new piping from the stock flange (that was removed) all the way back including a nice chrome tail pipe. I have noticed that the off the line seems to lag a bit, along with the...
Don't know if this is even in the same ball park of the conversation, but there is a guy that I see everyday when I am going to work and he has a Compass Rallye edition and he has Jeep covers over his bumper mounted fog lights. They look really good but I bet way more expensive than the deal...
My 06 was built 5/06, which really doesn't matter with the info TJKJ provided. Seeing how I don't have the trac-loc but I purchased the friction modifier should I have it added or just return it? I mean if I don't need it I hate to tell the guy working on my car to add if it is unnecessary...
Here is what my build sheet says:
All 4-Speed Automatic Transmissions
4-Spd. Automatic VLP 42RLE Trans
Lock-Up Torque Converter
Command-Trac Part Time 4WD System
Dana 30/186MM Front Axle
3.73 Axle Ratio
Corporate 8.25 Rear Axle
I bought a bottle of Napa's friction modifier anyway.
thanks, I'm not at home so I couldn't check my build sheet. Maybe I'll just but it to be safe. Unless it cost more than $10. Then I'll check what I have.
I am having both front and rear diff fluid changed. I read that you need an addtive for the rear if you have the Trac-Lok rear axle. I don't know if I have it. How do I tell? 2006 Renegade, 3.7l, Command Trac, ESP.
Ok, so I'm kicking around the idea of just clamping it and not taking it in to get welded. I really wanted to have it professionally installed with a nice tip, but $$$ is tight so I might do as many others have with the home install. My question is, what is the length of pipe needed to connect...
I did a little creative magic yesterday and obtained the proper Thrush Weld 2.5" muffler. Now I gotta make an apt to get it welled up. Thanks for the info everyone.
