High Pitch Whistling...
My girlfriend's '06 does it when under load, such as climbing a high at highway speeds. I never worried about it because it hasn't caused any drivability problems. My '03 has never made a peep. It's the good child.- ShafferNY

Positive Battery Cable
Don't take what Advance says as gospel. I had one of their stores tell me my alternator was bad, when it was the battery. Check things over good yourself or take it to a good mechanic.- ShafferNY

Vehicle shift!! HELP!!
Interesting that they would make a bushing like that. I wonder what the design theory is behind it? I suspect the slots are there to allow for rotational movement of the control arm. If the bushing was completely solid as you suggest, they would probably be stiffer, or fail sooner, or both.- ShafferNY

Yep. It's as simple as that. Just be sure you open the latching mechanism before closing the glass so you don't risk breaking it. BTW, I've driven my KJ for miles with the glass up. It's fine. It never hurt a thing. II've never had a problem with exhaust fumes either. And for some of...- ShafferNY

If it's not pouring out, just check the oil level. Then check it in about a week or so. If it hasn't changed in a week's time, then check it every two weeks. Caliper bolt...

Though I've never removed it on my Jeep, I've done others that were similar. I would say a 4 out of 10. Other than a 35mm hub nut socket, you'll just need basic hand tools.- ShafferNY

Welding KJ bumper
As far as I know, it's ABS plastic as mentioned. One fix I've done on beater cars in the past is rivet the bumper back together. Need some wiring/electrical help.
First off, does your '07 Sport have fogs? Does the multifunction stock on the steering column indicate a fog light option? If so, I'd be willing to bet the wiring from your Sport, is the same as, or nearly the same as the Renegade.- ShafferNY

Oil drain plug
I just bought the same one to go in my transmission pan. The head is considerably bigger. In fact, I bet you'll strip the treads in the pan before you strip the head of the bolt.
