Hey. Glad to hear everyone was ok. And your jeep. Just curious. I don't know if it is the camera angle or what but it looks like there is more gap on the driver side fender/bumper. You may want to have the frame and all looked at if that is the case. That is awesome about the ARB and this may...
Is there a spotted section on here? I saw a nice lifted dark colored kj with what I think were some soft 8's on it today. I'd love to be able to see it up close... Or head up to the dirty turtle with ya.
Has anyone else used the compatible iSimple unit from best buy? A little costly at $190 out the door but you get to keep the stock look and have cd quality sound. However, every once in a while I will have a loud resonating sound and or static that sounds like fm static. I am taking the unit...
Just got done!!! My hardest part was actually removing the center console. Thank you for the writeup. Couldn't have done it without. It feels weird driving without the part-time light on though. It's been on since I bought the jeep a month ago.
Cool. Thanks. I actually just found this thread by doing a google search. Couldn't font it in a forum search. I may have to take the bumper off and give it a gander.
Scangauge Measures trans temp? I have the sg II and I have not seen anything on trans temp. My sg II works real well with my 06 kj. Still curious on my map. The numbers seem to be off but I don't know.
I just put a rear tow hitch on my 06 and am going to be getting a D-ring receiver so my rear will be pretty well covered. I've found the mopar hooks and like how they look but I would love to get my hands on some front D-rings also. I love the way they look and also functionality wise you can...
I'll be doing this next week... What is the deal with this sensor? The part time is on in 2wd? Is there a short inside the sensor reversing 4wd and 2wd?
Hmmm. That sounds like a good idea. Not real stressful on the hand. I may have to invest in one so I dont use my dads for melting a bunch of plastic. Thanks a lot for the idea. Although it may sit with the white spot and the led for right now until I get the time to get around to it.
On my miata I took out the amber housing in the headlights and I probably did screw up the hole but they were 1157 sockets which are not real picky so everything went back together just fine.. I wish the large plastic socket housing could pop off or something. Maybe in the oven? I don't know. I...
I'm gonna try the same. And might as well do both sides while I'm At it. You will probably have to use some metal scissors or wire cutters to get it cut up which is always fun. I did something similar on my miata.
So I installed a hitch/wiring this week, had to remove the tail lights of corse. The driver side didn't want to come out and I broke the top tab. Big whoop. Everything worked on the plug and on the jeep tail lights when I tested it all out. Went to pick up a trailer today and my left brake...
Ok... Since No one else with experience will reply here it is.. You can add a 4 way amp as long as the amp has speaker level line in ports. You could also run a line adapter to convert speaker levels to RCA to go into the amp. These options will not give you the clarity of having an...
The one I just bought seemed to have a lot nicer/non firm ride in the rear. Most of the ones I test drove you could feel every road bump in your chest when trying to talk, but my sport seems a little softer, worn shocks? Trim level/different suspension? Don't ask me but that's actually what sold...
Hey. Welcome. Nice kk. I too am new to the forum/jeep thing. I went from a slammed miata to a kj. You should try an iPhone app called taptalk. you can post pics up on the forum straight from your phone.
I went to fill up mine last Saturday and it did the same thing. I just pulled out the filler a hair and held the nozzle and was waiting for gas to come spilling out but it shut off. It was my first time putting gas in so I don't know.
