Make sure you ask Rusty for the right lift springs, he has 3 spring rates if you have or are planning on adding an after market front bumper & winch. You may have already damaged your struts and upper balljoints, have them checked! Rusty's # is 256-442-0607- KJ04

Your struts are bottoming out or shot and the upper A-Arm and balljoint are most likely coming in contact with the springs and making the noise. To confirm this, jack up one side of the front with the tire off the ground, then look at the position of the upper balljoint and the spring...- KJ04

can you identify this lift?
Yeah, since there is the metal to metal contact. The Rusty's lift springs will give you a little more lift up front than the OME. I think they go for $120.00 a pair. If you have above 30,000 miles on it, might be a good idea to replace the struts also.- KJ04

Re: identify this lift idealrides, Yes, sounds like B.J. contact. Since I have never seen a kit that uses what appears to be a 1" + aluminum spacer in a position between the spring and the strut plate, and also what appears to be a Clevis lift at the bottom of the strut, I can only assume...- KJ04

Yes , you would need extended rear shocks. However, you might want to rethink on buying that lift. I spoke to Rusty last year and he told me that RRO coppied his puck lift, which is called the RRO OTT 2.5" lift. Yes, that is the one everybodys had problems with, and are now replacing with...- KJ04

Where are all the Trac-Locs?
JohnnyB, forget the factory LSD, and put in a Powertrax No-Slip in the rear when you get it home. (very easy install with good directions -around$375.00) It's street friendly in rain and snow as long as you don't stomp on it. Off-road it's great!- KJ04
