Question about lift and CV damage
The accepted norm is 3 conduit nuts on each side of the clevis, on a Rusty's coil lift, which comes out to a 3/8" clevis lift. The lift will settle and drop down a little after driving it for 3-4 days, then get your alignment done and go have fun ordering your new 31" tires to put under it.- KJ04

Spacer lift vs Coil lift

White smoke and burn smell from rear wheel?
When my rear caliper went, my dealer said the calipers were on national back order, which means there's a real problem with them. They finally located some at another dealership fo me.- KJ04

RRO Combo Kit front strut mount Question
No problems on the strut nuts in 3 + years. When I ordered my kit over 3 years ago the rear DT 3000 shocks came with an assortment of steel upper shock bolt sleeves. None of them were the correct lenght, so I cut down the longest pair to fit in the upper shock mount and torqued to 85 ft. lbs...- KJ04

Lift Sag
No need to get another lift kit, the one you have is fine. Just add a 3/8" clevis lift (3 - 1/8" X 2" conduit nuts ea. side) to boost the front an inch, and get another alignment, add some bigger tires, then go have fun on the trails. You can do this yourself and save money. And stay away...- KJ04

2007 Jeep Liberty Purchase.....Should I do it?
If you read the link, (which is from a DC Tech. with 12 yrs. experience) it shows clearly that it is a design flaw, and you will get the flaw on an 07 also. The cange will come on the 08's.- KJ04

2003 or 2004?
With half the mileage, I'd go with the 03. The only changes on the 04 I think, was the grab handle on the dash, and they added a 2nd. cat. convertor. Maybe, like myself, the person had two vehicles. I can only drive one at a time, and have 23,000 + on my 04 purchased Aug. 6th. of 03.- KJ04

I've heard of them dropping about 1/2" but, I don't think I've ever heard of one dropping an 1 1/2", unless you've got an ARB bumper and winch on it. Which coil rate did you order? Rusty used to carry standard, medium and heavy coils, don't know for sure if he still does though. The...- KJ04

Yes, and pinch weld still needs to be pounded over flat, use heat gun on front fog light area to soften and push in some. You'll see where it rubs when you mount them, adjust as necessary.- KJ04
