    Replacing front coils and struts

You say that you think it has a lift kit on it. Get underneath it and look at the front and rear coil springs, and see if there is a green or white tag on each coil spring. This would indicate stock coils. Also, Rusty's front struts are yellow, and I think he has a Rusty's sticker on them.

    Replacing front coils and struts

Ok, I'm going to try and take a shot at all your jibberish, and see if I can figure out what you're asking. 1. Come to find out, I do have the gas version with the lower lb. springs. Since your signature states you have a 2005 CRD Limited, one could assume that you purchased a used...

Did you actually use a Torque Wrench to tighten everything to specs? Otherwise, what you're calling tight may not be.

Any drawbacks to 2.5" coil lift?

You might want to do some investagation on lifting due to the ESP system. A member on L.O.S.T. KJ's had problems on his 06 with ESP after putting on a FrankinLift W/32's, removed the lift, tires and traded it in on a JK.

    Lift Kit and Towing

I wouldn't worry about sagging, a 2,000 lb. trailer has a tounge weight of around 200 lbs. That would be about equal to standing on your back bumper.

anyone know how much higher a Frankenlift is than Rusty's??

The FrankinLift uses the poly spacers because the OME coils only give 1 1/2" of lift.

    2002 Rear Upper spring isolators

Go ahead and use the 1/4" strut plate spacers to level the front end since you have them, they just sit on top of the strut plate, and you won't have to do the clevis lift.

    2002 Rear Upper spring isolators

What kit did you order? If it's a Rusty's coil lift, by all means do the conduit nuts at the time of the lift. The rear is a piece of cake, so you can add the isolators anytime during or later. A 2" - 2.5" bump stop mounted to the spring perch in the center of the coil would also be a plus...

    2002 Rear Upper spring isolators

A word of caution, some guys that used 2 upper rear isolators on each side experienced drive line vibrations and had to take one out of each side.

Wish I had known about this place B/F

rock wrangler, you could keep the rear shocks and rear poly spacer and swap the front spacer for their front 2.125" Combo kit which is actually a decent kit and add a 1/4" - 3/8" clevis lift to the front to boost it. It doesn't have any of the problems associated with the Budget (OTT) lift kit.

    looking at getting

Don't waste time, aggravation, and money on the spacer lift. By the time you replace what it damages, you're way ahead by spending a little more for the coil lift.

    Front trim spacer -- ?? -- how to ??

Not for sure but, since the front OME Medium coils only give you 1.5" they may be small strut spacers that sit on top of the front strut. Perhaps the 3/8" spacer that goes with the RRO 2.125" combo kit to boost you to 2 ''.

Rustproofing scratches on ome front spring coil

PM me if you want to go down. I might be going on Sat. April 7 th. to meet up with some Yotas. Need to see how the KJ stacks up to an FJ. It's hers, she wheels it, and she works for some 4X4 place. Should be interesting! This is her starting up Sturgis but, no pics of her, or mention...
