If you feel like an outcast, put on a 2.5" - 3" lift kit, a set of 31" - 32" tires on a set of 16X7 rims with 4.5" back spacing , rock bars, skid plates, aftermarket steel bumpers, winch, and you'll fit right in with the other Jeeps.
Go back out and srape up the passenger side so it will match.
I just gave up buffing after about the 4 th. time I went wheeling. I now have a great looking collection of battle scars.
The heads off of rubber mallets also work well, just cut to lenght with a hack saw and drill a hole through the middle and attach to the spring perch with a 3/8" bolt and nut. $1.99 ea. at the thrift stores.

Rusty's front springs will start sagging without even adding a bumper, not to mention the rear shocks with the kit don't fit well and most everyone replaces them with Rancho or OME.
For just a little more money, you could go with OME H.D. springs and Rancho's and not have any future problems...
A plastic hand pump, from the auto parts store used to pump gear oil in to your front and rear differentials would be a quicker way to remove the fluid than using a turkey baster.

Much eaiser to use some #000 steel wool to get the gloss off so the paint is dull, wipe clean with alcohol or brake cleaner, shoot with Blk. primer and then shoot with blk. gloss.
Where the bottom of the strut sits in the clevis fork, just raise the strut up 3/8"- 1/2" and torque the bolt to 100 ft. lbs. That's called a clevis lift.
I don't think you've done enoungh reseach on the matter. With the current front D-30a differential, the steepest gears available are 4:10's in an already weak Aluminum housing. Even if you lift the IFS to fit 35's the gearing would be the downfall. That's why people SFA the front to be able to...
