I had a set of BFG AT's on my Lifted Chevy Astro Van... I hated them, only ran them for a few thousand miles, switch to some lesser aggressive GY's I got cheap, much better ride and grip.- TAHOE

Wesway lift installed today
I am thinking about giving the wife's Libby an inch or so lift later this summer. Our's looks raked when you look at it from the side, but when I hit it with the tape, it's @ 18 1/2 at all corners. 5 hours??? :eek: I hope that included like 2 1/2-3 hrs worth of breaks. :D- TAHOE

Replace your struts if you've got alot of miles
My wife drives our libby all the time.... I could care less how it rides :D They do need changed though @ 56K, front end rides horribly....or maybe I'm just used to my Tahoe :cool:- TAHOE

Undercoating that neutralizes rust
I've used a product called Rasonil/picklex20, it is a rust convertor that once dried, it can be painted over. Worked pretty well. Agreed, the best way is to completely remove rust but chemical means or maybe some type of blasting, but if not possible then there is other alternatives. I do not...- TAHOE

NEED HELP...New Hidden Hitch
Explain that one to me.... how is lesser strength bolts a safety feature????? I can only think of being a break away so you don't damage frame??? I jammed a 2x4 up in there to push the exhaust out of the way when I installed my Chevy hitch on our Libby.- TAHOE

Grossness form the window controls...
That is probably pepsi or coke down in there, not chocolate. When I bought my Firebird, I tried to pull the console out, it was stuck to the carpet due to pop being spilled down through it. That had to be the nastiest car I've had to clean, still finding stuff. I even found a "quarter scale"...- TAHOE

Benefits of oiling?
I know a guy in Toronto, oils his Astro 502 BB about 3 times per year due to winter corrosion. I think he just uses a garden sprayer with some used motor oil.- TAHOE

Lifespan of the stock battery
I don't think it's maufacturing, I think it relates to type of use form vehicle. My dad had one in his 86 chevy truck, factory battery lasted 11 yrs. I've known other people with a lot of accessories replace one every 4-5 yrs. Most batteries should last close to their rated months.... just my $.02- TAHOE

Anyone have a brushguard? i need some help
I didn't have nor need tow hooks so that wasn't an issue for me. Not sure how you would do it for both, but I do remember seeing someone on here... maybe Tony???? If you just do the flat plate, you have to make it long enough on the 2 bolt end to slide up on the lip ( not much there) for extra...- TAHOE

Anyone have a brushguard? i need some help
I have a mopar one, but bracket is the same, I had to make my own bracket that I slide up in the large hole. I didn't have that Jclip on the hole so I got a bolt in it. Was a pain, must be some type of mount that goes up in there mine didn't come with. I cut some steel just wide enough to slide...- TAHOE

This was a young stupid hot headed kid thought his SRT could hang with a 425 hp camaro, they got in heavy traffic and bam.... stupidity on both their parts honestly. Camaro now runs a 396 pushing 500 hp (dropmouth) If you need help with lifting, let us know, some of us have done it quite a few...- TAHOE

Welcome! I'm just north of Cinci also, see TBJ occassionally when he gets in my neck of the woods :D. The ohio group actually is fairly busy, we have meet/greets every 6 weeks or so. you may want to consider doing a scenic road rally iwth us, last one was in Madison Ind. pretty fun. I think...- TAHOE
