How often Do You Wash/Wax the Jeep?
I've been slipping...I've ran through the auto spray wash every 2-4 weeks since December...and pretty much let it slide over the last couple months. What's going on?? New battery, higher MPG
Your battery shouldn't affect the alternator output, unless the battery has a different efficiency. I don't know enough about batteries to know if they have efficiency or not, what I do know is that when a vehicle uses power, the alternator replaces the power. A new battery shouldn't cause...- Boiler

My Jeep does a few weird things.
If you haven't done them already, I would change your rear driveshaft's U-joints, your front and rear diff fluids, and at least a transmission filter. While you're doing tranny, might as well drain and fill the transfer case. I think the U-joints could be your roar. I have the same 50 mph...- Boiler

My New Roof Rail Mounted Light Bar
What is the typical interstate law for lights, tinting, etc? I had always assumed that ohio police wouldn't give me crap about tint or lights with no covers if I had Indiana plates. If you are legal and plated in one state, can they make you scrape off your tint in another state?- Boiler

Clearifications on OME/Rancho Lift?
ah, a little clarification there. Doing an OME / Rancho lift is NOT a frankenlift. A frankenlift utilizes them as well as other special parts. Those other special parts make my 3/8 spacer too thick. If you just do an OME/Rancho(or OME) lift with your stock top plates, you'll be fine...- Boiler

back up lights
I believe that was meh_kick on lost. I've got two 55 watt hellas on my roof rack pointed backwards. They are fogs and I point them out, each about 20 degrees from straight back. Since they are fogs they have a really wide bean and illuminate about 160 degrees behind the jeep. Be great for...- Boiler

Rusty's Diff Skidplate; Will it work?
I wouldn't use it. Just seems like more trouble than its worth, I'd think it would collect mud/water/debris in there, and could even lead to rust if trapped. For 60 bucks I'd just move up to a full, heavy, aftermarket diff cover like the riddler or rockcrusher. I've seen them on sale at times...- Boiler
