You can get a new fan on rockauto for $60 or so (plus shipping and whatever). You might even be able to find one for almost that (about $100) at your local parts places. Of course, another trip to the junkyard (now that you know) would be the cheapest.- mrlavalamp

I have not used the sniffers, but the UV dye is pretty easy and fool proof. If you did not add the UV dye, it is probably not in there. You have to buy oil/refrigerant with the UV dye in there on purpose and not all have it. I just used a UV flashlight with mine, and was able to spot it...- mrlavalamp

Bumper trimming
I ripped that section off on the trail years ago lol. Yeah, my bumper is a little looser for it, but it still stayed on. You can get really fancy with the fender well liners and reshape them with a heat gun. You can even use an old putty knife with the heat to weld the plastic too.- mrlavalamp

how long it will all take is subjective to your experience and skill. under the oring on the bulb base there should be a pair of little screws. Take those out, and the oring piece will slide off and you can slide the lock ring on first and then put the plastic ring with oring back on.
