I have the Discoverer A/T 3s. Haven't really driven in much snow since I got my kj in March. I drive 12.5 miles one way. I did get to try out ice covered roads once. I didn't have any sliding issues in 2wd until I was a block away from my house on my way home.

I have noticed that the stock air intake is different in the 02 and 03 3.7l compared to the 04 and newer 3.7l. The hose between the stock airbox and the throttle body are different. Is their a specific reason for the design change and are they interchangeable? In the 02 and 03 models, they have...
I was just looking around one day to get more familiar with my KJ. When I was looking under the driver's seat, I found two random wire connectors under it. It's a manual seat with no heaters. Cant tell where they go to or what they're for. Anyone else notice these connections?
I had the same issue along with the rear seat rattle. I can't remember which forum I found it on, but they said to use wd-40 on the latch mechanism. I thought it was too easy to be true, but it works. I just opened up the glass and sprayed inside the latch and did the same on the latches on the...
I'm wondering where, if any, the location of the GCVW info is posted on a KJ. There's a GVWR on the driver's door sticker, but not the GCVW. Nothing important, just planning ahead if the fuel tank recall ever happens.
Ended up going to O'Reilly's and took pictures of some oil filters. The first one is a Fram, second is a STP, third is a WIX. The fourth and fifth are a K&N and a Bosch.
Once I found out about the cardboard in Fram filters, I never used one again. The AutoZone and O'REILLY by my house have all of the oil filters with the canisters cut off. I had to take a picture of the fram and send it to family and friends to make sure they don't use it too.
If I didn't know any better, I think someone broke their wagon wheels and called them brakes. On a more serious note, I've never seen drum pads completely worn before.
Living in Colorado, my parking brake gets a workout. My last car was an automatic, so I didn't use it as much. Once I got a stick shift again, I had to get used to using the hand brake again. I used to forget every once in a while, but now It's muscle memory.
I switched over to synthetic about 500 miles ago in my KJ. I ran synthetic in my 98 Grand Am for 12k miles and only changed the oil twice. It ran better then when I bought it. Traded it in at 95,xxx miles for my KJ.
Got the video uploaded finally. It took a good ten hours to upload an hour long video. :shakehead:
