84852 Dana Spicer Chrysler 8.25" Posi 29 Spline Dodge Ram Dakota Jeep 1997+

I can pick one up for $275. Would it be a worthwhile addition to my 02 Libby Sport? Most of my driving is on paved streets, but wouldn't mind the added traction of a LSD for a reasonable price. Appreciate your input.

How do you like the Powertrax No-Slip. Thinking about installing some type of LSD or locker on my 02.

    Alignment results after lift

Check and mark the positions of your front and rear lower control arm cam bolts on both sides before you bring it in for an alignment. Those adjustments should all be pretty much maxed out before they tell you they can't get it within specs. It's pretty obvious they didn't properly adjust or...

    Alignment results after lift

Obviously, all they did was a couple turns on your right tie rod end. I'd want my money back. You should be able to take a look at your lower control arm and see if any adjustment was done or of it's maxed out.

    Head Unit Install, no sound..

All of the adapters on Crutchfield are normally available on Amazon for less and with quicker shipping options. That's where I bought mine. Just copy the part name and or number into the search bar.

    Head Unit Install, no sound..

I used a Metra 70-6502 Radio Wiring Harness For Chrysler 02-Up Power 4 Speaker adapter, Double-DIN Installation Kit in Matt Black Finish and Metra Axxess ASWC-1 Universal Steering Wheel Control Interface for the steering wheel controls on my 02 with a Kenwood head unit and had no issues. I also...

    Lessons learned with lift

Others please correct me if I'm wrong, but a metal mallet or hammer will work much better than a rubber one. Just don't go crazy with it.

    Lessons learned with lift

No, most people whack the spindle with a hammer and the ball joint just pops free..

Agree, but only paid $30 for the tool, so figure it was better to have on hand.

This is what I plan to use to separate the ball joints when I do my lift. My brother, an old school mechanic, still swears by the pickle fork. I disagree. https://www.amazon.com/OTC-6297-Ball-Joint-Separator/dp/B0015PN010

Thoughts on American Racing AR625 Outlaw II Wheels?

Just wondering how these would look and be on a 2002 Libby. Thanks,

    clevis bracket

Just wondering how strong the stamped mount is compared to the older one? Any thoughts?

Ebay or your local bone yard.

    clevis bracket

If the clevis is in good shape why not just drill out the threaded side and pick up some hardened bolts, lock washers and nuts at your local auto parts store and bolt it straight through.

    clevis bracket

Negative on the new, but most used front coil/shock assemblies on eBay come with it.

What did you do to your jeep today?

Put my H&R front springs and Gabriel Ultra shocks together. Just had to give the H&R's a try. I have the Ultras on the rear already and really like the way they ride. I'll be interested to see how much lift I get with the H&R springs. Really not looking for more than 1.5-2". Worst case I'll...

Had the dealer active the DRL and auto door locks this morning. Also, shipped out those extended OEM shocks I had listed here.
