Took the day off yesterday. It was my volunteers birthday (father in law). Still got under there and painted some stuff i cant get to usually. Today is the day hope to wrap everything up and give her a test run.- Jbergun

Got my remanufactured transmission in the kj. Still not moving under her own power yet still need to button up some small stuff eg. exhaust starter trans support driveshafts and a few things under the hood.- Jbergun

Thanks guys for the info. Trans went in literally in 5 minutes once we had it on the jack in place. Still have to bolt the torque converter up. The transfer case on the other hand gave me one hell of a time but its done its in there. Hooked all the shift cables sensors and the dipstic back up...- Jbergun

I would call this more than half way taking everything apart there is a learning curve. Like you work on taking the tcase off but then this has to come off first and this n that. So going back together shouldnt be as bad. I hope.....- Jbergun

Kind of looks like medusa Father in law broke this off im the engine bay connects from air box to something. The front hose that i have a band clamp on the other end is where it broke. How screwed am i. The massacre that is my garage.- Jbergun

The new trans came with the updated solenoid pack and another sensor i believe is a transducer its located on the passenger side of the trans. The two speed in/out sensors are being reused.- Jbergun

My father in law had a 200lb tranny fall on his pinky. Good thing he had some dirty rags underneath it. Not as funny as the jokes above because it really happened. He is ok just a lil purple. I slipped off a slip nut on a condensing water line at work sliced my finger open real good. I dont know...- Jbergun

Glad someone laughed been saying that all week. My wife is tired of hearing it. "You never notice you got a good tranny until you dont" "Just paid $1500 for a tranny" And once i had it in the trunk. Got 2 cans of kooler clean. Pulled both drive shafts out the trans support the exhaust and real close to pulling transfer case. Pics suck but midas well.- Jbergun

I want to watch that video in slow mo as i am doing the swap. I am going down to Kankakee to pick up my reman'd trans this Monday.
