Inside front tire wear, scalloping. Bilstein HD rears on order

^^Listen to this, your rig will nickle and dime you to death and have you chasing your tail replacing parts. It's like putting brand new pads on but all your calipers are sticking. Do it once right and be done. You'll save yourself a ton of time and money in the long run I can promise you...

    H&R springs

Alot of the TJ guys are running them for low COG builds. They're variable rate, which is a good thing if you do slow technical as well as higher speed offroading. Also, you can level the rig front to rear by either adding an extra rear isolator, or using conduit nuts up front. Sent from my...

    Really need help

By "resetting the Pre-load" do you mean you loosened all 4 uca, lca, and sway bar bolts. Then you bounced on it, rocked it back and forth, and let it sit for a couple minutes before retorqing, all while the jeep is on flat level ground? If not than you might want to try it again. I'd loosen...

Swap inner tie rods or not?

I did, and would recommend doing the same. There's a pretty big chance that they could've just inspected them and let em ride, or they could just be some cheap parts since I believe they don't warranty the inners like the rest of the rack. Sent from my SM-G920T using Tapatalk

What did you do to your jeep today?

Mine does it when I plug my laptop in via small power inverter. Sent from my SM-G920T using Tapatalk

What did you do to your jeep today?

None, my amp just barely clears with the seat folded down (around 2.25" thick). Even with the carpet cut out in that area you may be able to fit it, but you're not going to be able to get the box volume the sub needs. Mount your amps under the seat and build(or have built) a box for the rear...

What did you do to your jeep today?

Finished the new sub box. Single Sundown Audio Zv3 10", this thing is a 68lb beast. This f'n thing gets down. ]http://youtu.be/Wgq-i1duoRk Also figured out what was making the clunking noise that's been driving me friggen crazy. Sent from my SM-G920T using Tapatalk

Steering rack bushings and misc stuff

The Napa rack would probably be one of the better of the part house brands. It should come with the bustings, and I'd just use the ones that come with it. As far as the o-rings, I'd go oem the first time and be done with it. Sent from my SM-G920T using Tapatalk

Steering rack bushings and misc stuff

Honestly it's a pain in the ass and if I could do it over I'd get a reman rack from advance, with the online discount it'll only be $20 or $30 more. Detroit/Dearborn wants you to pay for a new rack and get reimbursed after they get the faulty one and inspect it. They'll say it was your fault or...

Damn, you just made up my mind on that one. About to buy a pair of those, might as well do them when I replace my moog lbj's. Sent from my SM-G920T using Tapatalk

What did you do to your jeep today?

Lol. Running a ported stock Eaton blower in place of the stock intake using some custom machined adapters. Was going to run low boost (4-6psi), but my stock motor took a dump before I had the chance. Did a full rebuild on a junkyard motor, using forged internals, AirRam cnc race heads w/ hi perf...

What did you do to your jeep today?

This s**t was steep, at the top there's a rock to the right and the rear driver tire drops down into a hole. Pictures don't do it justice, but you see what happens to the z71 on the bypass. Guy broke all kinds of stuff going up the bypass, I felt bad for the dude. I went up the actual trail...

What did you do to your jeep today?

Finished installing the PATC built Trans, then drove 150 miles to Beasley's knob to go wheeling without any drive time on the Trans. All went well and had a blast wheeling. Loving the shifting of the built Trans! Hopefully this one will hold boost better than the stocker lol...

Steering rack bushings and misc stuff

I used them too and ended up having to rebuild the rack myself after having their original and warranty replacement go bad within a couple months. Sent from my SM-G925T using Tapatalk

Steering rack bushings and misc stuff

I had issues with the aftermarket o-rings leaking shortly after replacing the high pressure hose on my KJ. I replaced the aftermarket with new oem o-rings and haven't had an issue since. I'd use new oem o-rings and trash the aftermarket ones. Don't forget about the pressure sensor when you order...

JBA new ball joints are released

Mine are the same way. Not really a huge deal but I'd feel a lot better if the gap wasn't there. It'd be worth buying the JBA BJ's just for that reason. Happen to have any spare spacers laying around? The replacement boots JBA sent me have a small gap and one of those for each side would be...

What did you do to your jeep today?

Had this issue too, rear sway bar didn't help. There were a couple main issues causing mine. One was the rear axle shaft bearings were trashed and it had a groove worn into them, and the other cause was one side caliper was sticking. Sent from my SM-G920T using Tapatalk
