I used Moog greasable u-joints on the Titan. Must have a needle fitting as stated above. Just remember to situate the zerk at the biggest opening to make greasing easier. Don't ask how I know this... lol
My Renegade was Cactus Green with the matching rims. Most other Cactus Green Renegades I have seen have had silver rims. And most other Renegades in my area are either black or silver.
I ran LT245/75R16's with 5 speed manual and did not notice much unless on the highway. If I kept that size I would have made the switch the 4.10's but grabbed a pair of new LT225/75R16's as the bigger size killed my fuel economy.
I had the Thrush Welded muffler on my 3.7 KJ and loved it. Nice aggressive growl but not ricey sounding. Never popped or crackled at high RPM's either. It had slight drone to It but not bad considering it was dumped before the rear diff. Have one on my Titan too and it sounds great.
+1 on the misfire. If the plugs have not been replaced in a while I would check them all and replace if needed. Also have the coil packs tested. I have had bad coil packs do everything from just throw a code to putting the Jeep into limp mode.
Nice ride! Did you get the 3.5 EcoBoost? Father in law had a 2012, 2015 and now 2016 lariat Sport with the 3.5 and loves it. Gets crazy good fuel economy even while pulling a 32' travel trailer. Towing and hauling is one of the reasons I got another truck and ended up parting with my KJ. I still...
I once saw a lifted JK for sale that was like that and in the ad the lady stated it was never used off road but her boyfriend had her get all the stuff cause it looked cool. She was selling it to buy the vehicle she always wanted but never could get while they were together lol.
With you paying the tech to do the fabrication/welding he should be the one held responsible for doing the work right. They are silly for not making it right immediately. Especially with you offering to bring the paint.
If you cannot determine the axel can you buy new seals for all the options and return the wrong ones (Obviously if not expensive)? I have had to do that before.
After taking my flares off to bed line them either these were not on proper or they are pulling your leg. I have been through some heavy mud and muskeg with my KJ and never had any issues with flares thanks to the million clips and plastic rivets holding them on.
Check the sway bar bushings. I had mine squeak every time I went over anything like a curb, speed bump or dead body... They were dirt cheap and fixed my issue and made the front feel more tight if that makes any sense...
