What did you do to your jeep today?

I would have told them it was squirrel damage and they should turn the radio up

What did you do to your jeep today?

I got the passenger side lower ball joint installed and soaked the UCA bolts with penetrating oil so I can hopefully replace those tomorrow

What did you do to your jeep today?

First ball joint I have ever had fail and the only vehicle I ever replaced them on before was my 96 Chevy K1500 I have trailcam pictures with bucks fighting but the rut is a couple weeks away. Not sure if I am going hunting this year but I did shoot my 308 a month ago and hit a water bottle at...

What did you do to your jeep today?

Went for a drive this morning and when I pulled in my driveway I heard a bang and an awful grinding noise. Somehow sheared the left front lower ball joint off. I hope the passenger side can wait until Saturday even though they didn't make any popping noise on bumps. I am really glad that it...

    Intermittent Coolant Leak?

It wouldn't surprise me if you have a small crack in the radiator. I replaced mine last year after the crack expanded enough that I could find the leak

No Start, Key Won’t Turn Far Enough

I have close to 170k on my 2006 and haven't had to replace that part but I do have a remote start installed so I won't be stranded if it does break

Passenger tail-light doesn't run but brake works?

Might want to check fuses as my 2006 has separate fuses for right and left parking lights

What did you do to your jeep today?

There wasn't any whine to this one. Two of the bearing on the front u joint were dry. Two years ago I replaced the rear u joint as that was causing a weird chirp, actually sounded like a tree frog

What did you do to your jeep today?

It sure did. I probably put close to 80 miles on since I changed them. I read some posts that fixed the rumble with a new torque converter but my rumble would happen even with the trans in neutral at 40-50 mph

What did you do to your jeep today?

Replaced u joints on the driveshaft to get rid of the rumble strip noise/vibration between 40-50mph

    Gas mileage

I get between 340-360 miles on the 2006 before the low gas light comes on. That might go up as I have new tires and spark plugs in it

What did you do to your jeep today?

Put new rubbers on the 06 Renegade, Firestone Winterforce2 UV. Just the normal 225 size, they are so quiet I can hear all the voices in my head. The dynapros were louder than I thought after almost 4 years

Hesitation or Stuttering around 40-50MPH. Bout to sell the thing

If you want to eliminate the torque converter, just press on the brake pedal a bit when the problem occurs

Driver’s side running lights not working on 07 KJ keep blowing fuse where to find the short?

Check the wires going to the license plate light, it might be shorted

    Brake bleeding

My Liberty gravity bled good enough when I replaced the hose going to the passenger side caliper

    Cricket sounds coming from wheels?

I had a noise that I thought that came from the front drivers tire on my KJ that sounded like a tree frog or baby raccoon. It ended up being a bad rear u joint. There wasn't any play in the joint but the bearings were dry

Not Jeep But is Chrysler... Overcooling

Pull the A/C relay, I did it for a few years because I wanted hot air for defrost when it was below 0F, but it is good to circulate the freon even in cold weather to keep the seals good. I also installed a remote start on my 2006 3 years ago so it was warmed up good

08 Liberty Door "LOCK" not working from buttons, FOBs, or at speed auto-lock. Unlock works.

Does the key in ignition ping sound when you open a door when the key isn't in? That wouldn't prevent the auto lock though. Likely something wrong with whatever controls the locks, BCM?

Are those tires LT's, tread looks deeper than P tires

    Coolant overflow without overheating

It might be the natural expansion of water as it is heated and that is the purpose of that tank. I helped people install outdoor woodburners years ago and the models that didn't have an expansion tank would have water pouring out on the top as the wood heated the water up. Water expands about...
