It was actually a Delphi unit
Since yours is a 2004 the part number is different from my 2006. I might be replacing mine again since it is close to 100k on it. I had the electric fuel pump on my outboard motor lock up after 10 years
rockauto.com showed 1 Delphi pump in stock for the 2004...
You will need a 18mm deep socket the bolt head has a flag on it so you don't need 2 wrenches. Just hope none of the bolts are rusted like my rear drivers side was as I had to cut that one out
You just posted to their profile today, give it a day or so before sending a PM, they might be online sometime before tomorrow if they get email alerts to profile messages
I finally got my drivers side UCA replaced, took about an hour with a small hacksaw and a sawzall with carbide blades to get the rear bolt cut off. After getting it cut out it looked like the bolt on the rear was a press fit and then rusted on the bolt head side. The passenger side was really...
It isn't terrible to remove with a u joint/ball joint tool, a bit of a pain to press the new one in with the standard tool due to the length of the new ball joint. There are videos around. Mine broke on my 2006 back in October and I replaced it in my driveway.

I would avoid the Firestone Winterforce 2 as I have had them for a few months and they are garbage on snow, must be the worst tire ever with the 3MS snow rating as the Hankook Dynapro I had were really good
It may help removal by cutting the threaded portion of the old ball joint off with a sawzall or angle grinder with a cutoff disc. I would have had an easier time with mine if my ball joint/u joint press was 2 inches longer
The transmission has nothing to do with it. It all depends on whether the transfer case has the full time 4x4 option. I have the 2006 3.7 L with automatic transmission and I don't have the selec trac full time 4x4.
Another Renegade owner, at least you shouldn't had many issues replacing the upper control arms being in Georgia. The rear bolts on mine were rusted into the bushings, the one came loose after keeping it soaked in penetrating oil but the drivers side still won't budge. Last Sunday I decided to...
I got a package from Amazon with my Moog inner and outer tie rods and I am beyond unhappy with the left side outer
Am I supposed to drill and tap it myself?
