    2005 Elusive Fan Relay Module

Would be good to know your exact year and engine. NOT sure about the "fan control module" that you are referring to, as on my 2005 Liberty CRD, the electric fan is controlled by the 2 fan relays (low/high) located in the fuse box above the drivers side headlight.

2005 KJ Horn Honks When Break Pedal Depressed

What a STRANGE problem to drive with. Seems to me that their must be short to ground most likely through the brake light switch located on the brake pedal arm. That said, you are going to have to use the wiring diagrams from the FSM for your actual year, to locate and inspect the horn wire in...

Does anyone know of a store/chain that actually stocks a full line of Lisle tools?

^^^ I iuse the Motiv version pressure bleeder. I have found that SLOWLY pumping the brake pedal WHILE using the pressure bleeder, speeds things up substantially with no downsides when dealing with older fluid and brake lines that tend to clog at the bleed screw.

Does anyone know of a store/chain that actually stocks a full line of Lisle tools?

Me too, but I live out in the boonies … sadly as Amazon has put more and more brick and mortar stores out of business, it has still become a part of my consumer reality.

Does anyone know of a store/chain that actually stocks a full line of Lisle tools?

Sorry to say, but have you tried Amazon? Ive bought Lisle form them before without problems … it helps to have the actual tool part#.

What did you do to your jeep today?

YAY …this worked!!! I left Giddyup outside the barn and we got 4" of rain in the last 24 hours ... DS carpet under mat is not even damp!!! Heres a good pic of the .130" trimmer line running all the way from the fender well/grommet end of the drain tube and popping out the drain at the front...

What did you do to your jeep today?

^^^ You should probably add the word "work" so it includes the quotations into your computers spell check dictionary. hahaha

What did you do to your jeep today?

@burntkat Today on my 2005 KJ… 1) I rolled back the sunroof, 2) DISCONNECTED the battery ground wire, 3) released the wind deflector limit straps and folded the deflector rearwards 4) removed the drivers side kick panel and rolled up the carpet and foam and stuffed the carpet and foam...

Survey on AT tires being used

I also like the LTXs, though I dont really do trails or much mud, only gravel roads. They have never let me down. That said, and I do like overkill, the E load rating still sounds excessive for a Jeep that still weighs under 4000#. I mean, I use LRE on my truck that weighs twice that much...

Will your factory jack do its job out on the trail?

I use 6x6 eucalyptus cribbing blocks on my tracked equipment, but of course I just get to crawl on top of them like steps ;)

What did you do to your jeep today?

NOT the one I meant, but his guy pulls the headliner, but still excellent to watch even if you dont do it this way— This guy removes his A pillars and fixes the BROKEN drain tube underneath using straws…STILL informative, but NOT the one I meant, NOR what I would do!!! I'll still try to...

What did you do to your jeep today?

These are the pics that I found on my 'puter — But there is still a concise YT video that shows a guy actually trying to solve the and discovering where the DS drain exits through the wheel well, behind the vanity panels and some wiring. I'll keep trying to find it for you.

What did you do to your jeep today?

Roll back the sunroof completely, and then undo the 2 small leashes that hold the popup sunroof wind deflector up and then fold the deflector back towards the rear. With a light, look into the VERY front corner on each side, and you will see a SMALL (<1/4") OVAL hole, split by a small, curved...

What did you do to your jeep today?

Hoping that you are "presoaking" any bolts and fittings that you need to remove with PB Blaster or your personal favorite penetrant several times. Of course, Im sure that you already know to incrementally loosen, then tighten, then loosen. then tighten, then loosen, etc ad nauseum while...

The new guy with a problem, Go Figure.

Not at all sure about the discontinued Fram one, and some people have claimed that the early Fumotos can open up by getting snagged on a rock, but IMHO this ValvoMax is very well designed and machined. As you can see on the Dodge, it is located above the axle…if something shears it off, Ive...

The new guy with a problem, Go Figure.

I use the ValvoMax oil drain plug on all my vehicles… same "easy oil drain" concept, but it comes with a hose attachment that both opens the spring loaded ball bearing valve and directs the hot oil flow exactly where you want it, even directly into a narrow mouth container. Not only does the...

What did you do to your jeep today?

Since I hate using poisons, due to the downstream effect", I have found that the most effective solution for rodents, well other then keeping domestic or feral cats, is putting a bright LED light under the truck, and also either popping the hood (when its in the garage) or putting another...
