No instrument cluster lights
The orange wire is the dimmer control wire for the lights - power to the lamps comes in to the cluster on pin 11 dg/yl - see the wiring diagram on page 8W-12-14. on page 8W-12-34 you can see where the orange wire connects to the combi switch and a few others - it looks like the dimming function...- derekj

OME 2927 Spring Install
Maybe just the jobber parts (Monroe's etc) have the groove - I haven't installed a set of OME's so can't answer that question.- derekj

OME 2927 Spring Install
The clevis only goes on one way - the bottom of the shock has a raised line in it that lines up with the groove in the clevis - just helps to keep the shock assy from turning, but if your top plate isn't lined up correctly with the groove the clevis won't line up with the bolt hole in the lca.- derekj

Engine runs rough after an hours worth of driving
If your fuel trims are that high it means your engine is running lean - trims that high should flag lean codes. Maybe see if the purge valve is leaking all the time - unplug it and pull the hose out that runs to the tank and see if you have vacuum on the tank side of the valve when the vehicle...- derekj

Could be a faulty evap purge valve slightly sticking open and pulling fuel into the intake when the tank is full.- derekj
