    Pertronix shorty headers & a Magnaflow exhaust - nothing crazy, but a nice little rumble and a smoother power band on the torque side of things. Not particularly inexpensive though.

    Just to give you something else to check on, a lowered (lowered == bigger) pan (PML for example) can require another half-quart. Great advice from some of the other responses.

    It wasn't a recall per se, but Chrysler agreed to reimburse for the cost of the repairs. There was a timer on the offer that expired years ago.

    in the meantime, I kept the windows up with an old school wooden door stop (wedge-shaped) between the bottom of the window and the inside door. Effective and much cleaner than tape.

    I think you're better off with a regulator from Steiger Performance, myself. I've had all four windows go as well as their plastic replacements. This is a known issue which I think was a recall at one point, though I won't swear to that. Used Steiger on all four windows in 2010. No problems...

    Worth thinking about a new water pump at the same time if you're adding a clutch and HD mechanical fan.

    That's pretty inventive, Shankster. I'm curious to see your welding points. It's not evident from your photos. Even if things bend a bit or one of the welds cracks, you'll know you saved your rocker panel as well as some significant $ based on your ingenuity. Congratulations!
