    Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor Connector

I dont know if Napa has everything, but I was able to source some jeep connectors as a special order from them in the Belkin parts line. 2 for my chevy cruze and a jeep bit.

I've spun bearings on every 3.7 I've owned..

every 3.7 he owned (2) had issues. Hmm. Mine have other issues as we all have. I recall when i bought my 04 and thought there were engine issues. I could not rev up and was then unaware of the over rev limiter (governor). I love these little beasties!

    Alarm problem.

1 further idea. If your jeep has the evic (overhead console) the relearn procedure is different.

    Belt pulleys

That looks about right and much cheaper than the whole tensioner. Mine had a bad bearing on the grooved wheel, and a bad PS pump. After replacing those, it sounds like a whole different jeep. Before, I would have sworn the engine sounded like a harvesting machine for a farm.

What did you do to your jeep today?

Gotta love it when you already have your parts 'in stock'. Just did 06 front end work from accumulated finds like that.

    Escaped Rocker Arms.

You may find a stuck or collapsed lifter (lash adjuster) on each of the loose rockers. Ddpending on your maintenance habits , and those of any previous owners, there is likely varnish or gum in a collapsed one. Newer engines had rockers with smaller holes at the push rod end to force more...

    05 KJ Cat codes

If you do decide to do O2 sensors - start with just the upstream ones. Seems as they get the most work. Also, most gurus on here recommend the OEM sensors with NTK/NGK as acceptable. If you are new to these old KJ’s, they are fraught with electrical gremlins. A - they are old and have brittle...

    RLE Trans downshift issue

Don’t forget to add in #5 - lower control arm bushings. These are replaced under a recall, but do not last forever. When these go bad, the jeep is all over the road with a pronounced sway - one way on acceleration, opposite way on deceleration. My 04 had been done before, but when Son #4...

Are non-ABS front hubs/bearings interchangeable, or are they left/right specific?

Only difference SHOULD be the direction of the ABS cable (how it comes off the hub to lead back to the jeep)

KJ 2006 3.7L Engine Temperature Slightly Low

I don’t see a problem there. Those are not the most accurate gages. I have an IR temp gun that I use when I want to know for real. Has a lot of uses. Block temp. Rotor temp - when you are looking for a caliper that hangs up once in a while. Why do you think it is low?

    Coolant leak

Thanks for the update. I wager if you still have the old core and a way to put a bit of air pressure to in, that you will find the leak quickly. Those hose connections are outside the box, so I still think bad core. Specifically around the seam where the header attaches to the finned section.
