    2007 AC needs replaced

I hope the original leak wasn't in the evaporator... (and that it doesn't contain any metal shards...) because changing that means taking the dash apart. I noticed the evaporator core isn't on your list.

    2007 AC needs replaced

I’m in a similar place, where my AC hasn’t worked in about 2 years. My compressor is about 2 years old, but the AC only worked for a few months after replacing that. All of the other components are original to 2007. I noticed that Rock Auto has the entire system for sale. I don’t know about the...

    Bi-directional scanner recommendations

I have an app called JScan, and a Bluetooth BLE OBDII dongle, which is just for Jeeps and other Chrysler products. I can do some helpful bidirectional things with it. I’ve programmed in daytime running lamps, set the right tire size, and more. Recently I used it to toggle the ASD relay when...

What did you do to your jeep today?

I think I would have someone wiggle the wire to the starter solenoid while you are cranking it and see if it grounds out.

What did you do to your jeep today?

If it is the anti-theft that is the culprit, it will start and run for about a second or two, then die. This is if it is not sensing your Jeep’s chip key. If the vehicle is not starting at all, I suspect you have a different cause.

06 CRD wont crank on key but cranks bypassing starter relay but doesnt run

What year Liberty/Cherokee do you have? I would try to get my hands on a wiring diagram and see if the signal comes from the key cylinder or from the PCM or from someplace else. I would then check the continuity of that wire and next check if a signal is sent from the source when you turn the key.

06 CRD wont crank on key but cranks bypassing starter relay but doesnt run

Do you think the "click" sound is the relay or the starter? If the relay clicks but the starter doesn't move, try removing the actuator wire from the starter (that energizes when you turn the key) and cleaning it. Sometimes there is enough corrosion on this connection to keep the starter from...

ARB (Black) Rear Differential cover (Chrysler 8.25) with LubeLocker reusable gasket — BOTH NIB and SEALED for $200 shipped

I would be on this except I also have a steel differential cover sitting on the garage shelf waiting to be installed. This is a great price point. Got mine for $200 and that didn’t include the gasket or shipping. Hope someone snags it. ;)

Thoughts on my UK Cherokee (kj)

That’s a nice looking Jeep. Unlifted plus the black wheels is a sporty combination. The spot light placement looks fine, but only if they don’t reflect off the hood (bonnet) and blind you at night. ;)

    Pan Drop Service or Leave It Alone? 2006 Liberty 3.7L 4WD / 42RLE @ 200k Miles

The fluid isn’t as red as it used to be but it’s not brown or black. Does it smell burnt at all? If not (and maybe even so) I would lean towards a pan drop with fluid and filter change (not a flush). I’m at 238,000 on mine and it’s been about 60,000 since the last change, so probably about time...

    Rocky road outfitters budget lift

I have a 3.5 inch lift in the front of my KK and am running OEM Mopar sway bar links in the front and they are perfectly fine. I am don’t think aftermarket ones are required.
