I used that in my engine and transmission mount. It's pretty stiff. I don't think it would be good in a suspension bushing that moves as much as the ones in the front of the boomerang.
265/70 16 is nearly identical in diameter as the 245/75 16 but the extra width fits the moab wheel better. I've had both sizes now and the 245 almost looked stretched, like the sidewall was reaching for rim if that makes sense. I did have to trim more fender liner away in the front with the 265...
Tap on the starter,if you can reach it, I had a similar situation with my Yukon and it was the starter solenoid was sticking. Couple of taps always worked. If this does work after taping it's time for another starter.
This is the dumbest argument that keeps reoccurring because who cares, but I'll chime in for fun. By definition it is a coilover shock. It provides no suspension structure. You could drive a liberty around on the bump stops, but a strut equipped vehicle could not. Yes I know almost every...
I'd run the correct engine oil regardless of convenience. It design to run with that at operating temperature which is relatively the same regardless of ambient temperature. I don't see why you couldn't go either way in the diffs, lube is lube there. Less crucial.
I think drilled and slotted is more about heat, allowing air to pas through, but logically seems like it might also give space for water and or debris go so the pads can make contact. I've considered them myself, but decided it wasn't worth it to me. I believe they wear quicker too.
Recently used Fraser to replace the engine in my Yukon. They only required replacement of any external oil cooler, which makes sense as metal flakes could be in there. They're basically an engine distributor using various rebuiders. I tried Jasper and they will not sell to an individual that...
Spartan helical, very similar to dtt. Only a lot less $. I've had One front wheel off the ground and spin the one still on the ground in the dirt. I'm very happy with it.
This is true. I took "drop in" to mean does it fit without modification. I will say however, that I put this one in with new bearings and the same shims that came out of the original and it came out pretty darn good. You may not be so lucky.
Swapping flanges is really not a big deal. Basically what you'd be doing if the seal needs replaced. Takes a lot to crush the crush sleeve and change preload
That's unfortunate, I'm also running 927s and have been for years like many others here and my kj sits nice and tall still. I wonder if you got 925s in a 927 box? Any tags on the springs?
