    Front end STILL knocking

The steering rack does indeed make a hell of a racket if it takes a hard hit. And find a new mechanic. He's pants-on-head stupid.

    Parting out the KJ

I do indeed. I need to update the OP with what's sold and whatnot.

What did you do to your jeep today?

Will you be doing the time warp again? Sent from ThunderbirdJunkie's mind via satellites

What did you do to your jeep today?

Why do you have to pull the ring gear to install the Powertrax? Sent from ThunderbirdJunkie's mind via satellites

    Parting out the KJ

It's a $350 reman with low miles, not a new eBay special. There's a difference. If you'd like to make an offer, that's great, but go price a new or reman compressor. If you find a low price on a reman, not some Chinese garbage, we can work something out. Fog/turn signal harness is spoken for...

    Front end STILL knocking

There isn't until the rubber is worn out and the steel sleeve separates. ThunderbirdJunkie has been down this road :\

FWIW, ThunderbirdJunkie recalls the reading should be closer to 190-195. Sent from ThunderbirdJunkie's mind via satellites

    Another P0305 thread

Bosch's parts store specials are not the same as OE. But did you take known good ones and put them in the cylinder 5 spot? And put cylinder 5's somewhere else to see if the misfire followed it? Shit, dude, it's like you don't even know how to work on something without points and condensers...

    Another P0305 thread

He said coil pack, as in he threw one at it as a diagnostic part. He didn't say he moved the #5 coil pack to another cylinder to see if the code followed. Sent from ThunderbirdJunkie's mind via satellites

    Another P0305 thread

O2 sensor or cat won't cause a misfire code. Have you swapped out the coil packs? Don't go a step further until you do. Are you an actual mechanic? Sent from ThunderbirdJunkie's mind via satellites

how do you know if your KJ came with towing package?

03+ have an external trans cooler regardless, FWIW. 02-early 03s with the 45RFE don't, regardless. Sent from ThunderbirdJunkie's mind via satellites

    BDS Suspension's Project KJ

Why would you be afraid to drive this on the highway, but not tjkj's, JJsKJs, allyrand's KJs? The build really isn't so different. Sent from ThunderbirdJunkie's mind via satellites

What did you do to your jeep today?

You need a locker and man tires ;)

    Head Removal/Replacement

Stupid question. Why would anybody only replace one tensioner/guide? If it fell apart in your hand, the others are likely not far behind, and you already have the chain out anyway.

    Head Removal/Replacement

Get the kit; it was clearly needed anyway. Sent from ThunderbirdJunkie's mind via satellites

    New leak

ThunderbirdJunkie needs to clarify something. Not all the '02-06 radiators are the SAME... A radiator for a 45RFE KJ will work in any KJ to '06..the 42RLEs do not have the built in trans cooler.

Dunno... 100 for both sound about right? BTW Teckman02 shipped out your cupholder insert because ThunderbirdJunkie is a baboon. Sent from ThunderbirdJunkie's mind via satellites
