Source for rebuilt heads?
Things are pricy in MD even out in the sticks where I live. That's the problem with rebuilding mine, they don't include parts and I saw the HLAs can be up to 16 apiece for Mopar. Rockers and cam are probably okay but I'd like to swap the HLAs no matter what. I haven't done anything like this in...- 02blue

325 turned out to be pretty cheap for rebuilt ones. I thought it was pricy too at first until I checked around my area. 285 for a rebuild not including 125 to clean and resurface OR PARTS. I'm debating on just a resurface. The problem is I've got 160k on them and some tapping in cold weather so...- 02blue

What did you do to your jeep today?
Those Monroe's are fantastic. Put them on last summer and the first time I pulled the handle the glass almost took my head off. Before them I couldn't even tell it opened. :gr_grin: Got exhaust manifold bolt/studs, thermostat and front crank seal from Mopar.- 02blue

transfer case / drive shaft noise?
Is the recessed boot on the Tcase end intact? Sometimes they tear and it's tough to tell. If it's all intact just move them around they should move smoothly but not too loose or tight. Check the range of motion.- 02blue

Ain't that the truth! I'd always see the nicest bear during small game season and the nicest buck during bear season. transfer case / drive shaft noise?
You could always disconnect the shift linkage from the tcase while you are pulling the front shaft. Then no one cando any damage.- 02blue

Been there myself. 7 1/2 years of just over 1000 miles a week of non-reimbursed travel. Don't think I could do it now although currently it can take me way longer for my 40 mile commute. I'm really diggin' the Husky liners! They get my vote.- 02blue
