Hi, I've just test driven today (in Italy) a 2.8 CRD sahara...WHERE IS THE ENGINE??? WHERE ARE THE 177 HORSES...(deadhorse) ??? Couldn't believe to what I was testing, had to push the foot waydown to receive a slight acceleration!!! It's definitly quieter at idle than Liberty's 2.8 CRD, but...- musicaldoc

Well, I live in Italy and due to gasoline cost (1,3 Euros per liter :eek: ) the wrangler will be sold mainly with the 2.8 CRD (410 nm 177 Hp). I'm going to test drive it tomorrow. They say it is quieter than the 2.8 CRD of the Cherokee (Liberty) but I think it's another sellers' bulls**t...- musicaldoc

Well, new Jeep friends... I will soon become a Jeepster as soon as I receive my dreamed Cherokee - Liberty since I drove around in the italian Alps on a friend's of mine Willys. Might be that BMW or Mercedes could be more sofisticated, but Jeep is a myth (at least for me) and I won't let a lbj...- musicaldoc
