Yes, I had a shop look at my Liberty. They traced it to a bad abs module. I found a company who is going to rebuild it for $400. All the abs lights were on my dash and it gave the c1020 code.
Do you have a link to the shop that rebuilds them? Mine took a shit this week too.

What is the shop that did the rebuild of the ABS module? I have a 2010 Jeep liberty which needs the module replaced. I found some online parts stores which will send me a refurbished module. But they won’t reprogram it. The Jeep dealers say they no longer have the tools to reprogram it. So I need, a rebuilt module that is reprogrammed with my Jeep’s VIN.
You need a reliable scanner such as autel or launch to perform the reprogram. It's done installed in the vehicle and need to perform some drive test to match.
Find a slight more sensible shop that accept new parts aren't always available! Nothing wrong with rebuilt units, do they only fit crate engines too?
Thank you. Mechanic says reprogramming seems to be the issue with installation of used or rebuilt part. Initial indication of ABS module failure was ABS, Traction Control, Emergency Brake, and BAS light all came on at a normal stop. After turning the engine off and restarting all lights were off and normal. Mechanic diagnosed ABS Module failure.
Before your guy jumps to bad abs module, he needs to thoroughly diagnose this issue. That christmas tree of dash lights can indicate any number of faults. My 06 did this and needed a wheel speed sensor. The fact that a power cycle of the key cleared it up indicates that it most likely is not the abs unit.
