Hi I'm new to the KK forum, just purchased my 2010 kk. My A/C blows cold for a while then goes warmer. Anyone have this issue does it sound like low on freon? Thanks.

Easiest thing to do when diagnosing AC issues is to start with a recharge. Buy one of the kits from the local auto store with a gauge and start with one can and see what happens. If it stays cold for a few days your fine but if it warms up again you may have a leak somewhere.

You can buy the cans that come with dye to help identify a leak which is what I did and noticed the side of my condenser was cracked. Simple replacement and charge but thankfully my neighbor had a vacuum tool to assist.

also having to much Freon can cause it to blow warm as well and make it freeze up. if it blows cold while going down the highway but warmer in town you cold be low it could be your electric fan not working or a low pressure switch going bad the best way is like Whelan said to get you a can of refrigerant with a gauge on it I recommend AC Pro it's the best and the gauge is pretty accurate I work at autozone and I hear a lot of people talk about how good it is but buy it from walmart it's like 11 dollars cheaper there and start from there.
